We have just booked a last-minute trip for next week. Kids would love to do a character dining. Can anyone tell me if any character dining restaurants accept walk-ins without ADR? Also, what are the times for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Are they specific to each restaurant or the same across disney dining? I thought I might get something at an unpopular time.
Any help would be appreciated. :confused3

I'm thinking your best bet is the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club.

I would start searching on the online dining reservation page and see what might possibly be available. The more popular ones such as Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace will probably be almost impossible to get into. Not ALL of the character meals have three meals a day...some are just breakfast, some just breakfast and lunch and some all three.

Definitely look at the online reservations site for Disney as KatMark suggested. It would be better traveling with children to get an ADR in advance even for next week, as opposed to trying to walk in with fingers crossed.

My trip's in 5 weeks and I just got some pretty hard to get reservations today, so keep checking the website!

This is a good one with Minnie, Goofy and Donald Duck in beach attire. It is one of the more "laid back" character meals and the characters spend a lot of time at the tables for pictures and autographs. It is our second favorite character breakfast (after Crystal Palace).

I too am doing a short notice trip..booked on Mar 1 and going 17-21 and I was able to get both Cape May and 1900. I was able to get a CP for lunch. If you are flexible with time and date it is possible. If anything you can always try a walk-up. People double and triple book and don't cancel or do last minute so that's a possibility as well!

    Have fun!!
