Decks 2, 6, and 7 between the mid and aft elevators. I would call the locations "aft," but DCL calls them "mid"

$2 to wash, $2 to dry, $1 to buy products. We bring our own soap too.....purex 3 in 1 or tide pods are easy. Alternatively, you can put a pre-measured amount in a plastic container.....a million years ago, film containers were great.

yeah, I'm the one with the white powder in my luggage.

Looks like the prices may have been lowered...

I just did laundry on the 1/5 Wonder sailing out of Miami... $1 wash, $1 dry, $1 products... Just double-checked my room bill to be sure.

Our first 2 cruises were part of 2+ week trips so I knew laundry was inevitable. I pre measured powder and put in the snack size Ziploc bags. Then I put a few of those along with a few dryer sheets and a stain stick in a small Rubbermaid. Worked great and didn't take up a bunch of room.

I premeasure our liquid and take it in water bottles. Also note that the washers are small so you probably won't need as much as you use at home in a big one.

FYI, Purex no longer makes the 3 in 1 sheets. Not, that I liked them anyway, they put spots on some of our clothes :worried:

Does it swipe your room key and charge your account, or do you need $$$

WOW! Makes me WONDER if they never raised the prices on that ship or if they have indeed reduced the priced. On our last cruises, both the Magic and Fantasy were $2 per machine.

I haven't Wondered since 2009 and don't think I did laundry then, so just figured all ships were the same.

On Magic and Fantasy, it is a KTTW swipe. I dont think I'll comment on other ships.:confused3

Yeah, I WONDER about it, too. Our last 3 cruises were on the Wonder (2 MR & Hawaii) and the laundry has been $1 everytime (at least on deck 2).

It's a KTTW swipe on the Wonder, also. Just be aware that once you swipe your card, it can sometimes take up to a minute (or longer)for the card to be accepted. Sometimes people keep swiping (because they think it didn't read it) and incur additional charges.
