Thursday - The day we have most been looking forward to. Once again, I am up at 5:30, having coffee on the bench facing the marina (needed the change of scenery). Pikced up our car from valet and headed out for Discovery Cove at 9:30.

What a beautiful, peaceful park. Check in was great, there was a two toed sloth there to great you. We then had pictures taken for our ID and then onto our oritentation. Our dolphin encounter was for 12:20. We set up our "camp between the resort pool and the stingray lagoon - great location - most people set up on the other side of the resport closest to the dolphins - we had only two othe families near us. Everything about this was great. the coral reef was excellant, the sting rays were fun, the tropical river was fun and when you swam under the waterfall into the avaiary it was magnificient. The birds are beatutiful and will land on your hand, head, etc. looking for food.

Now - onto the encounter. After a brief orientation on what to do and what not to do we headed down to the lagoon to meet our dolphin - Scarlett. What an incredible experience. There were 7 of us in our group. Each had ample opportunities to swim with the dolphih, be pulled by the dolphin, play games with the dolphin and pose with the dolphin. Afterwards we were ushered into a cabana to view the pictures taken. $75.00 and 4 phot's later we were back to our base and back in the lagoon pool.
Even though we had tickets for E-ride night, we stayed till closing as we didn;t want to leave.

Finally made it to the Magic Kingdom at 7:00 - on to space mountain - 10 minute wait, buzz lightyear - 10 minute wait (thought the ride was cute but not thrilled with it, saw The Timekeepe (ou-oh - DW and DD felt sick after this ride but that passed. We did Splash Mountain with a 10 minute wait and Pirates of the Carribean with no wait.

All were exhasuted at this point, and I mean exhausted. Made it back to room and we all wanted to sleep in the next day but - NO - breakfast at the Castle for 8:50 - no sleeping in tomorrow....

I've heard so much about Discovery Cove. I think one day our family will have to go there and check it out ourselves. Thanks for telling us about it.

Thanks for the great report.

Sure was a busy day I can see why everyone is exhausted.

Discovery Cove sounds like a neat place.
