Formal Night

There where no more pictures of the day until now. I believe we
all had lunch on the pool deck at Flo's. Flo's was probably one of the best food
places on the ship. We got lunch there almost every day. Flo's offers chicken,
Burgers, Fries, Panini's, Wraps - wich I loved !!, Fruit, cookies, and Pizza. Only
the boys in my family like the pizza planet puffed crust pizza that disney serves,
Me and my mom prefer thin or original crust. But this pizza was not the regular
disney pizza. It had a thinner crust served by the slice. My family Loved the
pizza!!! They had cheese and pepperoni every day and about 2 other flavors.



So we started our night with pictures in the lobby.

As we were waiting to be let into the Royal court, they
provided complementary drinks. Waiters came out with trays of Beer, Wine,
and then for the young one's They had a sparkling Apple drink with
cherries.


As you can see the boys have already taken there ties off. And soon after my
flower started to fall so I took it off.

Formal Night Pt.2


Tonight we had dinner at The Royal Court.

Appetizers

Escargots Gratinés -
Herb-marinated Snails with finely chopped Mushrooms, topped with Garlic Butter and Breadstick
DM & DF
They ate all of them so I suppose they good.

Brie -
fried cheese served with a fruit jam
I had this
it was very good and cheesy !!! Wich I allways love.

Also in the back of the picture there is a chocoate strawberry smootie. Me and DB1 both got one. It was actually very good.

Iced Lobster and Jumbo Shrimp
White and Green Asparagus, Micro Greens, and Lemon-Dill dressing with Horseradish Cream
Every one had this
My family loves seafood so we all liked this.

Royal Market Green Salad
Cherry Tomato, Cucumbers, Peppered Goat Cheese, and a Raspberry Vinaigrette

Main Course

Wild Mushroom filled Pasta in a Vegetable Broth (Vegetarian)
Topped with Watercress, shaved Parmesan Cheese, and a Paprika Oil Drizzle

She liked this a lot. But she got ravioli almost every night.

Double Cut Rack of Lamb with a Dijon Crust
With fine Green Beans, Gratin Potatoes and Rosemary Jus

This was realy fatty with barely any meat.

Roasted Wild Boar Tenderloin
Sweet Carrot and Onion Potato Cake with a Red Currant Reduction

I wished I got this instead. It was really good.

Lobster Mac'n'cheese

Amazing!!! Not as filling as the One at Lumiere's on the Magic.

Grand Marnier Soufflé
Infused with fresh Orange Zest and served with Crème Anglaise

It was too sweet for me and way to raw. I was very disappointed.

Tahitian Vanilla Crème Brûlée
With Almond Biscotti

Cozumel, Mexico

During dinner the night before DB1 skipped dessert to
go to the Edge. About the same time DB2 finished his meal and went to the OC.
After our fabulous meal, I joined Logan in the Edge. I have no idea what DM &
DF did.

When we woke up we got dressed and ready, and I don't
remember what we had for Breakfast!! I don't have pictures but I think it was
something quick. Wait ... now that I think about it we had EG. The standard
breakfast buffet with a little more options.

After that we went to the assigned meeting spot for our
excursion. On the last cruise we took we did not do any excursions. But we
decided that we would do a few this time. We didn't know what to do in
Cozumel, but in the end concluded on the Playa Mia Grand Beach and Water
Park. There were tons of packages, but we picked the all inclusive pack that
included,

- Day Pass
- Transportation from boat to beach
- pool
- and Buffet

Congrats DM on a great photo of the most beautiful ship to set sea!!!

Once we got to Playa Mia (PM) we hoped right in t the water.We sat our stuff right next to the pool and kiddie area.

Funny moment
There was a big jungle gym out in the ocean, and DF and I
went out on it. Let me tell you it is a long swim. While I was kinda scared
because I had no clue what was under me, The currents were pushing in the
opposite direction that we were going. Once we got to the Floating thing we
had to be hoisted up by a lifeguard. The main thing I wanted to do was jump
on the trampoline. Well after swimming what I swam my legs would not jump.
They were so sore.


You see the guy in the Blue shorts? That's DF and I
am the figure next to him. I didn't realize that until now.

The buffet had different taco toppings, Meats, salsas, dips, the
best mac'n'cheese!! On this trip I discovered my love of Virgin Pina Coladas
and Virgin Strawberry Daiquiris. I got one almost every hour.


Well our time together for now has run out!!

Having fun reading all about your trip! Loved the formal night pics - I love seeing everyone get dressed up for formal nights. Wow that swim to that jungle gym looks so long - I definitely wouldn't haven enough strength to bounce on the trampoline either. What a fun water park tho!

Animators Palate



So lets just start of by saying I got the worst sunburn ever!!!!!!! My skin was red and hurt every where!! My shoulders, My neck, my face, it hurt! But it left a awesome tan!! Sadly this sunburn basically lasted all week.


Before dinner , DB1 was in the Edge while DB2 was getting ready with DM & DF in the room. I went to take pictures with some characters.

After that every one met up at AP for dinner. Tonight was the Finding Nemo/ Crush Show

Black Truffle Pasta Purseittes
Pasta Purse filled with Truffle scented Cheese and coated with a delicate Champagne Sauce
This was very filling but good.

Baked Potato and Cheddar Cheese Soup
With Bacon Bits and Chives
Least favorite soup of the trip. It was very gritty.

Smoked Salmon Tartare
Capers, Onions and Micro Greens topped with American Black Caviar, seasoned with Celtic Salt

Ginger-Teriyaki dusted Angus beef Tenderloin
Carved to order on Wasabi Mashed Potatoes with Bok Choy and a Tamarind–Barbecue Reduction

This was a shrimp salad DB1 liked it

Grilled Pacific Black Cod
With sautéed Morel Mushrooms on a Sweet Potato Purée
DM loved this

I'm sorry that i haven't posted in about 6 weeks!! I have been busy with school
(All Pre-AP) and dance, and the school play that I'm in.(Beauty and the Beast)


Grand Cayman + Lunch

As I woke up this morning I looked out the Porthole to see the
beautiful Grand Cayman!!

We had an excursion that day for a tour that didn't start until
about 12:30. So we all split up for breakfast and went are way. Around 11ish
we all met up at RC. And by all of us I mean everyone but DB1. He decided to
stay in the EDGE.

Royal Court Lunch
Appetizers

(By now I have forgotten who had what)

Shrimp Cocktail
Everyone in my family loves shrimp so this was perfect for our family.

Chicken Soup
I believe I had this. It was plain.

Main Course

This was some sort of fish and polenta( I believe Cod)
DM had this and loved it.

Steak and Fries
This was delicious!!! I had this and loved it!!

Dessert

Banana split
DB2 liked this but was full.

Apple pie
I love apple anything but this was not hot or good. I liked the ice
cream!!

Overall lunch was good. The steak and Fries were so good!!
My Stomach is grumbling in hunger as I think of this!!


Grand Cayman


The excursion we went on went all through out GC, stopping
at the Turtle Farm and the Devils hideout.

Funny Story: DB1 & DB2 were playing near the railing of the
pool with all the really big turtles in it. Well then all of a sudden you can see
DB1's shoe floating in the pool. The turtles start to bite it, and then a worker
comes and gets it out. Now there is a turtle bite mark on his shoe.

Loving your trip report! We are going on the Fantasy in 5 months and 3 weeks for our first cruise. My DD will be 14 then, so will she be in the Edge? She is also a competitive dancer!

North Atlantic Lobster Ravioli -
with roasted garlic and sweet basil in a light tomato broth
- Everyone but Me and DB2 (Bad choice)
- I had a bite and this was sooo good!! I'm so mad at my self for not getting
it.

Just curious would they let you order another Lobster Ravioli if you wanted it? You didn't like your entree, would they have let you order a different one?

Prince & Princess

Tonight was the prince and princess menu and we ate at EG. It was also semi Formal night.

Appetizers

Rosted Roma Tomatoes and Herbs. I don't remember who had this but I believe that it was okay.

Duck Quesadilla
This was amazing!!!! Loved the duck!

Belle's Blue Cheese Polentia Cake
I belive that DM had this and liked it.

Main Entree

Rosted Portabello Mushroom Trigoloni Pasta
My Mother got this but DB2 loved it so much that he got a plate of this.

Slow Rosted Brest Of Chicken
DB1 got this but was way to full from all the ice cream he had throughout the day.

This was really really yummy!! And refreshing.

This was probably one of my favorite meals of the trip. Besides the fact that the food was good, the whole menu was Princess themed.

Breakfast in Jamaica

Well Breakfast on the ship in Jamaica, But that's the same thing!!
This morning we went RC for Breakfast.

We got to our table and got some pastries and drinks.

This was Apple Juice. It was good, but it was just minute maid.
And in the back you see my brother(I think DB1) holding a cinnamon roll.
He liked it.

This was a chocolate croissant, And I liked this very much. But what's better than Chocolate in a rich flaky Croissant??

This was a regular cup of coffee. An I guess it was good.

This was the breakfast trio, which had a waffle, a pancake, a piece of
french toast, some bacon, sausage, and topped with whipped cream and
a strawberry. It was a okay once you smothered it in whipped cream
and honey. I would probably get something else next time but it was
good.

This was my mothers egg white omelet with mushrooms topped with a
tomato. She really liked this. This is not on the menu but you can ask for
an omelet and create it to your taste.

Little DB2 just wanted a plate of mickey waffles, so that's what he got.
And what better than a plate full of mickey waffles??

And here's my fathers omelet with bacon and a hash brown. He really liked his omelet to !!

After our wonderful Breakfast the boys headed to the kids clubs while me, DM, And DF headed to explore Jamaica.

This was the 2nd time the Fantasy had ported to Jamaica, Before it went to Costa Rica. The port was a new and had just been refurbished. It was very nice and Had a lot of shops and a Margarita Ville.

We were going to meet our dis board group at Margarita Ville.

It really cool because the Margarita Ville had a pool and a swim up bar.

And there was a hot tub in a Margarita glass.

The 2 drinks in the front are both Frozen Margaritas, and the tiny pink one in the back is my Virgin Strawberry Pina Colada. All very good and refreshing.

We had to stop at The Harley Davidson store, because my father works at Harley Davidson Financial.

We saw street performers.

I had a lot of fun in Jamaica even though we didn't go far from the port.
