Hi all, Just returned from the Fort and had a great time. We stayed in our usual preferred loop 800 and could not believe that it was not crowded. It was a nice 4 days. A couple good notes of the trip was the new pool area. My daughter loved it and had a great time. A second was the trails end resturant. Of course I failed to make dinner reservations at wispering canyon at WL and could get no other last minute reservations anywhere. We decide to give trails end another try. Last time we went we were a bit disappointed with the food. To my surprise, it was the best meal we had at disney. They got us right in without a reservation. We booked Chef Mickey months ago and the kids were thrilled. The food was OK but the smiles on the kids made the experience great. A few disapponiting items are as follows: Campers with big rigs, please don't get upset, but outside RV cleaning companies should not be allowed to perform their services at the fort. On Thursday, our neighbor hired an RV cleaning service that pressure washed thier rig for 2 hours and continued to use buffers for another hour. Our RV got sprayed a few times and the noise kept my little one from napping. Not relaxing at all. The next thing was pool hoppers. I know we have all done it before and some still do, but when I was at the pool Saturday, I overheard a lot of people talking they were from the contemporary and a lot of people come to the fort for the pool. I also overheard people on the bus everyday saying they like coming to the fort pool better than their resort. All in all, it just made for a crowded pool that us campers have to deal with. We'll be back for a week the first week in October. Hope to meet some of you there.
