Just booked Animal Kingdom Lodge, hoping I got a good deal!

We're squeezing in a 1 night/1 day non-park Disney trip thus July. I found $205 a night (July 16) on Travelocity. I thought it sounded like a really good price, so I went ahead and booked it. Now I'm wondering if it really is... We requested bunk beds and have a standard view room. My family has been dying to stay here so we're excited no matter what.

Just know that bunk bed rooms are a specific room category for which you pay more than a standard room.....

That is a good price, but as stated bunk beds are not a request but a room category.

AKL is a beautiful resort with great dining options. Have a great time :wizard:.

Bunk beds for pool and courtyard views are a bookable category, but I don't think that's the case for standard view. I think there are some bunk bed rooms in the standard category, but they can only be requested as they are not a bookable category. Hopefully someone will verify that or correct me if I'm wrong.

We were given a bunk bed standard room last May. It wasn't something we paid for or requested, just got lucky.
