Glad to hear that you had a great time. How did your friend react when you surprised her with EVC? I know that you were concerned about her health.

I didn't tell her that I rented one until we were on the plane. She didn't say much , but at least she knew it would be at the hotel. Then, she made me drive it to the parks, she wouldn't get on it. I was having so much fun with it that eventually she wanted a turn too. Her stamina (sp?) was better than I had hoped. On the 3rd day she needed to sleep in so I went on to Epcot and we just went out together in the evening - the extra rest helped I think. EVC's are terrific, the only drawback was when the park was crowded - not that easy to manuver between all those people and when it was like this she made me drive. All in all, we both were very glad to have it. Well worth the $30.00 a day.....perhaps we shouldn't have taken it to the lounge for drinks....drinking and driving you know ;) but it was still great fun!!!

I'm glad to hear your friend used it and didn't make you use it the whole time. And she's still talking to you after you surprised her with it, so I would say it was a big success. Glad we could help you.

Drinking and driving  Actually I have been known to do the same in my power wheelchair. Margarita at the Mexican pavillon. Sounds like you had a great time. I'm glad.

I am glad to read that you & your friend found the ECV to be worth it. I was hesitant to rent one before our last trip, but I read a lot on this board, & it gave me the encouragement to rent one. It worked well for our group. I've already budgeted it in for the next trip.
