We had an absolutely wonderful stay. I had great pin code rate. We checked in Sat 4/23 at around noon. This was an extremely busy week we were told by the CM at check in that they were full. I was informed at check in that we had been upgraded from pool view to savannah. I had requested upper floor nonsmoking. The savannah room was 3rd fl handicapped and I declined the upgrade. The CM's was shocked. Her expression was so funny. I just started laughing and so did she. She said she never had anyone decline an upgrade before. Anyway after a few minutes we figured it out and we got a great 5th fl non smoking pool view room with bunk beds, a queen bed and a daybed. The room was ready and we went right up. What a fabulous room and our view was wonderful. OMG I absolutely love the AKL. We relaxed at the pool for the rest of the day and took a mid afternoon break everyday. What a wonderful stay. Mousekeeping was great. The room was clean by lunch time each day. We also received towel animals everyday. The pool was never to crowded and there were always chairs available. My only complaint were all the young children that were unattended in the spa's. We did many of the resort activities and had lots of fun seeking out the animals. The CM's were all very friendly and the lodge was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be staying here again.
