Just got back home. Thanks to everyone on this board for all of the help & reviews of the Disney restaurants. All and all, we were happy. Here's a summary: Best TS meals: Ragland Rd & The Wave, followed by Yak & Yeti. Ragland Road was a last minute addition after cancelling lunch at Kona Cafe and having TS credits to burn...so we ate there last night. It was wonderful! I got the special, which was scallops au gratin, while DH got the steak. He commented that it wasn't the best cut of meat he's ever had, but he thought the glaze was quite good, as were the mashed potatoes. I thought the scallops were great. DD got the kids cheeseburger, which we took a bite of and it was quite good as well - definitely much better than the typical kid fare. The bread pudding for dessert was outstanding! We also got the strawberry & apple crumble, which was good, but again, that bread pudding was great. The atmosphere was terrific, our waiter was top notch...we'd DEFINITELY go back there again and highly recommend it to others. We ate at The Wave on Thurs PM. DH got the seared fish of the day, which was grouper. I got the same dish on our last visit almost 4 years ago, but I don't remember the exact fish. Anyway, he thought the grouper was a little 'fishy'....we live on the gulf coast, so we eat grouper fairly regularly. I got the beef tenderloin (typically I'm the chicken/seafood eater, while DH is the steak guy), and it was great. I shared some with DH and he commented that it was really good. I also like how The Wave has the trio for desserts. Just enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, but not too much. DD got the kids pizza, but was WAY impressed with the kids sundae, as well as the candle on top for her birthday after the waitress noticed her birthday pin (nice touch when I didn't add it on our ADR). Again, this was our second visit to The Wave after eating there on our last trip almost 4 years ago. I've read some mixed reviews for it, but DH & I really like it, alot. I'd give Ragland Rd the slight edge for best overall meal, but I really think The Wave is a hidden gem that either people don't take the time to try, or don't even know it exist on the bottom floor of the CR. Yak & Yeti was a good meal too with great service. The fried wontons for dessert were incredible, and a HUGE portion...we could have easily have only eaten on skewer, but they were so good, we both ate a good part of the second skewer . Okay/average TS: 1900 Fare & Crystal Palace character meals... As expected, they are typical buffet meals. Nothing incredibly fantastic, but nothing awful either. The stepmother & stepsisters at 1900 Fare are fun, and CP is a beautiful restaurant - a nice break while at MK. Biggest disappointment: 'Ohana breakfast. DD loved the characters, but the food left alot to be desired. The bread & juice was pretty good, the waffles were great, but the skillet was 'blah' at best. I don't think I would bother with doing it again. If we were to do another character breakfast, I think I'd try Chef Mickey's or Tusker House next time. QS meals: Earl of Sandwich & Wolfgang Puck Express were great in DTD. In MK we went to Columbia House and tried the lobster rolls. DH has spent alot of time in the NE, and he said while they weren't as good as what you get up there, we both agreed it was pretty good for theme park food - better than the typical fare. We also ate at Pecos Bill's, which was fine, and in Epcot ate at Sunshine Seasons, which was probably above average. Overall, we were pretty happy with our meals. Again, 'Ohana's breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment, and Ragland Road & The Wave were the highlights.
