I was wondering which came first?... The movie Tower of Terror or the ride? I don't know why I was thinking about it...it was just a random thought. Thanks :confused3

I'm pretty sure the ride came first. Have you seen the movie? It's a little cheesy. But fun to watch when you can't be at Disney!

I'm pretty sure the ride came before the movie. The movie was made because of the ride. :)

Trivia on IMDB states "Most of the tower footage in the film, both interior and exterior, were shot at the actual Tower of Terror attraction at the Disney MGM Studios." So I'm thinking...ride came first. :goodvibes

Yep, it stars Steve Guttenberg and a young Kirsten Dunst. ;)

The movie was tuuuuuurrrrrrible, but my DD adores it. If you want to see it, I highly recommend renting BEFORE buying. It's available in the ToT gift shop, but you'll pay a hefty price there.
