I would be willing to call DCL and ask about reserving the D-Lounge for our group. I'll just tell them how many people are on our thread and ask if there's a minimum number they would need in order to do this. If they want a head count, then I'll ask people to RSVP. Does that sound ok?
Hi Jessica! Sorry I couldn't respond sooner. Nice to meet you! So what exactly do you need help with?
I do! Thank you!
Nice to meet you too! im not sure how to meet people hahha i have never been on a disney cruise and im nervous not to know anyone
Sounds good to me.
Meet up sounds great! We've enjoyed putting faces to names in previous meet ups.
Do you think they'll show Monsters University on board?! We've caught a couple of new releases/previews while on DCL. Our favorite was the big party for Prep and Landing 2...
Sounds great! Count us in. My girls are looking forward to meeting other teens in the group.
Sounds great!!! Thanks for doing this Bobbi.
You can call (888) 325-2500 about two weeks before the cruise to find out what movies will be shown on the sailing. I'm desperately hoping (but doubtful) "Man of Steel" is on the list. It comes out on the 15th.
I'm I to late to get on the list for fish extenders?
I'm trying to join the fish extender list. Am I to late? We never been on a cruise. Someone told me about fish extenders today. It sounds awesome!!!
I called about reserving the D-lounge, and they're emailing me a private event form that I will need to fill out and submit to request the use of the space. The gentleman I spoke to said they will decide the request 30 days from sail date.
Ok well, basically, if you're a Disney fan, you will literally have the time of your life on this cruise!!! There's a million and one things to do on the ship, and all of them are extremely fun! First things first: the Teen activities. We will be doing most of our "teens exclusive" things at the Vibe, a cool hangout with lots of comfy spots to lounge in, and lots of things to do! On this cruise ship, the Fantasy, the Vibe is packed with a huge television, cozy couches all over the place, computers (which have a really cool feature I'll talk about in a bit), and these porthole-like pods where you can sit and watch TV on your own personal screen, listen to your music, or play video games, and you don't have to be pestered by other people. Anyways, there are always a bunch of fun people to hang out with in the club (two of them being my sister and I ) and games set up not by the counselors, but US, the teens. In order to help organize the events and activities for the cruise, you MUST go to the Vibe on opening night. It's your best shot at making friends, getting involved with what you're going to be doing, and for your parents to get to know the counselors (if your parents are like mine).
I just learned all about the fish extenders from a neighbor. I have been told that this is something my daughter would really like. I was hoping that I could at least get her added to the list of kids. My husband and I do not have to get added. I know that it is less than 75 days but I just found out about the fish extenders today at day 66. Let me know...
to the Father's Day Eastern Fantasy. The FE was closed last week but I will see if the other participants have an issue adding you at this time. Please give me a day or two to get back to you. If there are any other questions that I can help you with regarding the cruise please let me know. Thanks
Sounds great! Thanks for doing the leg work on this!
That is so cool! Thanks for taking care of this!
Elaine, The group did not have an issue adding you. Please read the first post of this thread for the FE instructions. Since you do not have more than 10 posts to PM on the DIS, you will need to email me your information to email@example.com. Thanks
Just booked our cruise today on this ship. We originally were going to Alaska on the Wonder in July but had to switch it. Love that Disney Cruise Line was so accomidatting. Bummed we are too late for the FE but that's not too big of a deal since my daughter will be in awww over everything else Best part about swtiching to this ship other then it being new, makes my trip come a month sooner.
