hey guys! thanks for starting the new thread.

does anyone know why we can't access the planning for the cruise yet? It's 90 days out so??????

Supposedly, they were trying to tell me 90 days out from when the ship leaves, meaning 5pm.:sad2:

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, I think for Castaway members it's 3:00am Sunday the 19th is technically the opening of registration. The links are all there, they just aren't active. I'll have to find my target dates from my travel agent.

Sorry, access to My Cruise Plans is not currently open for this reservation. Access opens 75 days prior to embarkation, 90 days prior for Castaway Club members, and 105 days prior for Concierge Guests. Also, note that access to My Cruise Plans closes 3 days before your cruise departure date.

So, we have decided to try and do Trunk Bay on our own while at St. Thomas.

So if anyone wants to join us - you'd be welcome! I'm going to pick JoAnn #1's brain for all the advice she can muster and we'll plan the trip with a couple hour buffer to make sure we get back to the ship before the "all aboard".

    Hey guys! We're 90 days out!!!!! :thumbsup2

    Time for PICTURE TAG!!!!!!!!!!

    How do you play???

One person posts a picture. The next person has to post his/her own picture with something that is the same from the first picture.

Ex: The first person posts a picture of the Magic. The second person posts a picture of a lifeboat with a life jacket. The third person posts a picture of the muster drill. Etc. etc. etc.

It's fun to see everyone's previous DCL picks. If you haven't been on a DCL cruise before - feel free to post something Disney or non-DCL - but that still depicts something from the previous picture.

    So here goes:

Here's a picture of our DDs discovering their gift basket from Shirley on our first Disney Cruise!!!!

ooo - this will be fun - I'd much rather do this than cleaning the kitchen/family room. I guess it's a perk of having the computer in the kitchen...

I have to remember my photobucket account....

Being rather liberal with the theme...going with "first cruise" and "kids"

Here's a picture of the first dinner on our first cruise, embarrassing the kids by ordering dessert off of the kid's menu "But, mom it's a kid's menu" and then whining the kids got sprinkles on theirs and I didn't. Then discovering the waiters have a sense of humor when they removed mine and returned with a whole bowl dumped on mine.

During our first cruise our girls we discovered that our girls are equal opportunists. They didn't understand why they could get a Mickey bar but not a Minnie bar. So Joann#2 asked the server if there was anything they could do to a Mickey bar to make it look like Minnie. This is what she came back with. Gotta love the servers!

I interrupt our photo tag to share this photo from a few minutes ago - You can't see our sidewalk, it's up past the trees, sidewalk, and the neighbor's side foundation across the street and it's still coming down hard. A car passed with the water up to its wheel wells. We watched a neighbor's garbage bag sail down the street. This is a spring rain - it's not even tropical storm/hurricane season. I don't think we're behind on this season's rain anymore :lmao:

(Although, bonus points to anyone who can link this photo...)[IMG]

I'm a little dense. Does this mean that we can book our excursions after midnight tonight if we are CC members???? For some reason I thought it was tomorrow night????? I guess that would be the 20th, not the 19th. I guess I really need this vacation!!!!:lmao::lmao:

It says April 19th in "My Cruise" link on the DCL website. So, I'm guessing that means after midnight tonight.

Oh, and they've upgraded our storm warning to a flood warning... Ya think!!! :lmao:

Yeah that's probably right although, then it's not the 19th it's the 18th - to be even more confusing -I seem to remember dh getting up in the middle of the night to book for our last cruise - Then again just about anything past 9:30pm I consider the middle of the night.

I plan to be long asleep even before 11pm tonight. Well maybe not. DS has his first official high school band function tonight that goes until 10:00pm.
