    I hear you.
My husband said this morning before leaving for work, "I can't wait till this trial is over so I can have my employee back".
So I guess this means he is seeing the dust, laundry and unvacuumed floor becoming more obvious.

But hey, I am also staying home more and not out spending money, so thats a good thing right?!

The new man in Jodi Arias' life speaks

I noticed this guy a day or so ago when he was sitting behind Jodi's mother and aunt. He had some definite expressions while Jodi was on the stand.

Isn't there some condition or name for people who communicate with those in jail who've been accused of murder? I guess it's not just communicating, but almost falling in love with them? I think Charles Manson had quite a following of ladies who wanted him, and then there was another serial killer (can't think of his name, he was really good looking and killed a slew of females). Maybe this guy thinks Jodi is hot and hopes for some weird relationship?

Also, Jodi spoke of going on a date with Abe hardlastnametospell, he was on a while back...what did he have to say when he was questioned?

Here's one of Abe's appearances on Dr Drew's show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRU4NK-7O-g

ETA: His telephonic testimony should be on one of the daily taped testimonies, but I don't recall which day.

No. We are apparently reliving her 1 1/2 years with Travis in real time. By the time they get to the murder, everyone will have died of boredom.

The questioning reminds me of Legally Blonde where Elle is questioning the girl and keeps saying "So you took a shower..". This is "So he kissed you?", but I don't think this will get the exciting end like Legally Blonde.

:rotfl: It certainly feels like it.

I flipped it over to TruTV this morning coz I like to hear Beth Karas' take on the trial and after about 3-4 minutes of replaying Jodi's testimony, I became really agitated with her and Nurmi...again! I just have no patience for her.

My favorite part of her testimony is when her defense attorney says "I'm confused".....
She isn't doing it the way they practiced and he's stressing.... LOVE IT!!!

He says that people don't know the "real" Jodi Arias and what a sweetheart she is. I said back on the CA thread that I know somebody who makes people feel this way (just happens to be a male instead of a female).

People can't get over how wonderful he is and will go to great lengths to defend him - right up until he scams them too. I've seen it happen over and over through the years. He caused a great deal of family drama when he was a teenager (had the large majority of his extended family feeling like he was being mistreated at home), and it caused breaks that couldn't be repaired. He eventually burned every single one of them (the ones who helped him get jobs that he stole from felt really embarrassed).

The extended family eventually came to understand the "real" young man, but they would have fought you tooth and nail over it for years. The guy went on to do the same thing to others - like the time he took his roommate's motorcycle without permission, wrecked it, and then played dumb but insinuated that it was probably the roomie's little brother who did it. :scared: He could lie like it was second nature (actually probably first nature for him).

I felt sorry for the people who dealt with him. When everything got bad enough, he just moved on to a new group who didn't know him. Oh yeah, he liked to use religion too - knew what to say and how to act - really conned some super nice people.

Joining the game late here, although I've been following this thread on and off. (By the way, y'all are a hoot!) I watched some of the trial when I got home the last several nights. Wow, she's a real piece of work!!!

And for some reason, a song from the musical Oklahoma keeps running through my head when I listened to her drone on and on about their sex life.

    "I Cain't Say No"

It ain't so much a question of not knowin' hut to do
I knowed what's right an' wrong since I've been teen.
I heared a lot of stories an' I reckon they're true
About how girls are put upon by men.
I know I mustn't fall into the pit
But when I'm with a feller
    I fergit!
I'm just a girl who cain't say 'no'
    I'm in a terrible fix!
I always say 'Come on, let's go' just when I aughta say 'Nix.'
When a person tries to kiss a girl
I know she aughta give his face a smack!
But as soon as someone kisses me
I somehow sorta want to kiss him back!
I'm just a fool when lights are low
I cain't be prissy an' quaint
I ain't the type that can faint
    How can I be what I ain't?
    I cain't say 'no!'

Whatcha gonna do when a feller gets flirty
    An' starts to talk purty
    Whatcha gonna do?
    S'pposin' that he says
That your lips are like cherrys,
    Or roses, or berries
    Whatcha gonna do?
    S'pposin' that he says t
    That yer sweeter than cream
and he's gotta have cream or die?
Whatcha gonna do when he talks that way?
    Spit in his eye?
I'm jist a girl who cain't say no,
Cain't seem to say it at all
I hate to disserpoint a beau
When he is payin' a call!
Fer a while I ack refined and cool,
A settin on the velveteen setee
Nen I think of thet ol' golden rule,
And do fer him what he would do fer me!
    I cain't resist a Romeo
    In a sombrero and chaps
Soon as I sit on their laps
    Somethin' inside of me snaps
    I cain't say no!

I hope this man understands that she would not have that type of relationship with him. She is just playing on his emotions.

Anyone else watching the replay today? My husband is home and he wanted to watch it (goodness knows why :faint: ).

Anyhow, I was wondering if I imagined seeing on the ticker that the prosecution and defense were meeting in closed chambers today ... and something about a prosecution rebuttal witness' home being broken into and her laptop stolen? WTH is going on? Anyone have details?

    I saw that too!
I have no details to share though. :(

I know that it is a psychologist that's home was broken into and her computer that contained Jodi Arias' profile report was on it.

Well at least someone else saw it so I can't blame it on a boredom-induced stupor from having to sit through this again today. :faint:

I posted the news link up in the thread somewhere, can't remember whether it was today or last night, I'm in Jodi world where it all just runs together. I wonder if that's what the closed hearing is about, they might be fighting as to whether it's admissable now, although I would think there's a back up somewhere.
