Disney publicly acknowledged it August 12, 2011...nearly 4 months ago.

At first glance, I thought the OP meant JL got fired from his next job after DVC.

    Thanks all!
Though I'm a DVC member, it's the first of heard of his firing, albeit from that one line in the article. At least now I know why he got fired. Too bad he isn't Union. He'd still have job.:confused3

Union doesn't protect Management. He'd still be gone.

But if he was doing a bad job why should he been allowed to keep his job?

tis the season to bash unions, bah humbug:rolleyes1

if mr lewis had been a union employee, his less than stellar job performance would have long ago resulted in the loss of his job/being reassigned to a position more attuned to his personal skill set @ Disney via the standard union arbitration process.

:laughing:i'm glad i held onto my DVC mailer for Animal Kingdom, complete w/DVD that gave him quite a bit of air time. it's likely to become a highly sought piece of disneyana now...if only i could've gotten him to autograph it.;)

Give him a call, he probably has a lot more time on his hands now and can take care of that for you right away.
