For anyone waiting to price out fares for the Christmas season, the following was posted by Jetblue on Facebook earlier today:

Our schedule will be extended on Sunday, March 15th. The extension goes live at 12:00 PM EST Sunday, March 15th. It will include travel through January 4th, 2016.

I'm not seeing that on their page. As a matter of fact they haven't posted anything since yesterday

Thanks for posting this. I used to get the email letting me know the release date. But last month they didn't send them out. I'm not on Facebook so only found out the date coz someone posted it here. Booo to Jetblue for thinking every one of their customers gets info from Facebook. Thanks again!!

yey

this is how it got shown for the prior extension
time to book our december flights!

Just booked our flights for Christmas week. $401.86 pp return, nonstops, from Buffalo. Not bad.....I can live with that price ::yes:: .

Just booked my flight home...MCO to Worcester on Dec 9 for $88. I'm a happy girl.

I booked Dec 12-19 nonstop from Buffalo. Paid $696 for the 2 of us. It is a bit more than I would have liked, but I think this is the new normal. I really prefer JB over SW, so no point waiting for their price.

$88. Sooooo jealous.
Doesn't happen often! It's usually a lot more to fly this route...it's usually at least 50% more than flying into either Boston or Providence. Bit, weather can be an issue, so I could be diverted to Boston.

Wound up paying 827 RT total for 3 tickets in late October from Newark. It's a bit more than I had anticipated, but still better than United when you factor in the free checked bag.

Checked my rates into DCA. Too high for me right now.
I still had to buy my return flight for my October trip (Oct. 25). It was $149 per person, so I nabbed it. We had been running between $100 and $125 on the return legs on Sundays in my past few trips. So I wasn't going to quibble with a few more dollars.

Just booked our November trip!! WOOHOO!!! $114.00 PP each way from PVD. Not too bad!

Last fall when they opened up for this coming April we waited til the next day and the prices skyrocketed!! So we waited for Southwest to open up. We DID get a good price...but I don't like gambling with our seats (autistic son and would prefer all 3 of us to sit together). So we will fly Southwest next month (all 3 of us purchased EBCI), but will book with Jetblue for future trips the MINUTE the calendar opens up (like we did today)!!

Good luck all!

Sunday prices are always higher! They will only go up. We light Dulles more than Reagan, so lately been flying on United (not my favorite), but closer to home and cheaper with the luggage fee. I miss Jetblue's Florida flights out of Dulles. Going into Reagan is such a pain for us coming in from the WV metro area. We leave on Oct. 23rd to go to WDW.

I ended up booking flights going to Orlando on thanksgiving day through United today at a better price and better time. But I did book JetBlue coming home at $128 pp.
I was also checking Christmas dates but the prices are incredibly high! Maybe we will drive.

Just booked our thanksgiving trip !! $130 pp each way from JFK-MCO

Can definitely live with that price, being that the flight that we booked on thanksgiving day is now
Up to $198 !!!

I miss the JetBlue flights to/from Dulles! We live in Reston, which is about seven minutes from Dulles. Eventually, something will push me to the United flights at Dulles. Probably once JetBlue starts charging for bags.

While we booked from Buffalo, we would have preferred to fly from Syracuse. Its an easier commute for us to SYR versus BUF as its a tad shorter in distance and we don't have to cross Toronto.

But.....round trip from BUF was $401.86. ONE WAY (SYR to MCO) was $399. One way!!!! :faint:

Sadly, weather can almost always be an issue for us Canucks. Fingers crossed that Buffalo doesn't get another 6 foot deluge of snow when we want to get out of dodge for Christmas!!

To have so many different airport options at your disposal is sooooo awesome. You are very fortunate indeed!
