Hey what are all the effect's in Its tough to be a bug???
LOL it is just water I promise! I've been twice. Love this little show.
i said that to them but they don't believe me lol so i was asking so i can show it to them.
Pretty sure it would be closed down if it was anything other than water
i said that to them but they don't believe me so i was asking so i can show it to them lol.
That's too funny, lol.
I'm not an evil person (I swear!) but nothing makes me laugh harder at DW than the terrified screams of little children as the spiders descend from the ceiling.
Not only is it not real acid, they aren't even real bugs.
No, they're definitely real bugs. Disney genetically modifies them to be that big.
Disagree. You are definitely evil, much like myself, lol.
Took a selfie last time I was at It's Tough To Be A Bug right after the acid spray:
ITTBAB is one of favorite attractions at WDW. Love how scary it is. I even saw a teenage girl have to leave crying because she was so scared.
Isn't there a poke in the back, simulating a bug bite/sting? Not sure, it's been a while. Also, I had to usher my grand daughter out when she freaked out.

Yes... the Bugs Exit the theater under the seats! Love it!
Love ITTBAB! It is a must see every time we are in AK.
Of course if I had experienced as a little kid I would probably be even more afraid of bugs than I am today.
Probably the scariest effect is the spiders dropping from the ceiling in the smoke and almost dark. That's when the screams really start.
The pokes in the back and when the bugs exit under the seat are more surprising than scary.
So just what do they think it is?
Children? I sat behind a grown man who jumped and screamed when the beetles walked under him to get to their seats. Better than the actual show!
Sit in the back, you get the best view of all, including the screaming jumping guests.
There is more than water, but there is nothing that will hurt you.
I promise ............ says HopperFan ...........
Nobody has mentioned the giant can filled with choking, blinding real BUG KILLER that is sprayed in the theater
that engulfs the audience...
taking away their oxygen and leaving many guests near death, gasping for air.
WHY did you tell? That is the fun part.
And this is why Disney has you pay for your tickets upfront.
