    Hi!

Thought I'd share pics of the gifts I made this year. I take pictures for a notebook of items I make, in case I make changes to the pattern (and where I found the pattern).

First, afghans I made for my grandniece and grandnephew:

Scarves I made for the secretaries (and hand-stamped/embossed tags):

Scarves for the other 8th grade teachers and a beaded bookmark for the speech teacher:

WOW! You were busy! That is a lot of crocheting. The Spiderman afghan is amazing! :)

Thanks! Except for the black lines, it wasn't too bad to make.

Thanks! I think the shawls were my favorite to make. The yarn was very soft.

I love the shawls! Are they a free pattern somewhere, if I may ask?

Yes! It is on the Red Heart yarn free pattern link. The yarn is Shimmer. They are so soft; my friends just loved them!

It's beyond me how people can read crochet patterns. I can make a granny square and the world doesn't need any more of my afgans. :rotfl:

Great job. I'm sure they will be treasured.

Thanks! I started in the fall. I crochet while watching TV, as a passenger in the car, while I'm at swim meets, and I'm even part of a "hook group".

It's actually a heart! It's from an old Mary Maxim kit.

Thanks! My mom taught me how to do all those crafts as a kid, and I liked crochet the best. I constantly have projects going, and a major yarn stash.
