I sold a minor item today. There was another item exactly like it that went off 2 hours before mine did. It sold for $15 with approximately 20 bids.
I was pleased when I saw that, because I figured that the other bidders (I looked at the bid history) would probably bid on mine once that one went off (especially since they were charging the same thing I was for shipping, and theirs was for media mail while mine was for Priority Mail) .
Nope, mine didn't get even one of those bidders, and mine sold for a grand total of $1.04... This is why I'll never have to worry about the IRS needing to audit my ebay earnings!
ETA: The ebay and Paypal fees came out to exactly $1.04!
