is there a way to tell what groups are at WDW on certain weeks/months?

Often I check the upcoming events at the Wide World of Sports. If you see sporting events or activities during the same dates as yours, chances are they are being housed on property. And yes, there will be some mention of them on the boards, but I find the list at the WWoS is pretty advanced.

Great Idea for an Official Thread....known groups that come to the parks, ......:thumbsup2

It's fairly easy..

December and January are peak times for the Brazilian Tour Groups. They'll reappear in July...

Every weekend from late January til about the third week of March, there is one of a cheer/dance/twirl event.

The 3rd and 4th Weekend of April there are cheer and dance world competitions.

Not much in May. A few school trips but generally it's not a big thing.

Gay Days in the first week of June... really only affects the Magic Kingdom on the first Saturday in June.

July is just busy cause the kids are out of school but generally not traveling in groups.

Late August/September is the free dining period. Again, not traveling in groups per se but can result in terrible waits at the T/S restaurants.

Food and Wine is October mainly.

Thanksgiving is busy ..

Pop Warner is 10 days after Thanksgiving. Just dig out a calendar and count from Thanksgiving Thursday to the second Sunday. That's the start of Pop Warner.

And then from December 23 to the 31st ... the entire resort is packed for the holidays.

That's really the big ones that should / could be of concern.
