Is there a job that you could not (would not) do even if the pay was great? Why?

I do not think I could be a hospice worker even if the pay was great. I do not handle death very well and that would be very tough on me. A big thanks to all of the hospice workers.

I could not be a plumber or anything dealing with sewage. That is one thing I am happy to hire out and avoid altogether.

I probably could not be a hospice worker either. My emotions would be on autopilot to protect my sanity. While I could likely give the patient the care they deserve, because me emotions would be on lock down, I would have a hard time with the families and giving them what they deserve.

I hope that makes sense and doesn't make me sound like an uncaring soul.

An Industrial Electrician for the steel industry. My DH was one for 30+years, and I worried especially in the winter when the bridges going out to load the ships in port were iced up. The high voltage electricity used in manufacturing worried me too. When asked if I wished to tour the plant both DH, and I thought it would not be a good idea for me to see where he worked so.. I declined.

Pedicure/Podologist - anything to do with feet. I sold shoes for a year that was bad enough. People seem to think they have a right to wave their dirty smelly feet at you or insist on shoving them into shoes way too small

I interned to be a Mortician - it was one of the happiest years of my life. I never ended up getting licensed or developing the career but I actually loved the work itself.
