Fun, fun!! I just put my guess up! Everyone was guessing 7 pound babies, so I had to break into the 8's. ;) Henry was 10 pound 3 ounces!

    Hmmmm.

This is going to sound weird, but I need a picture of your current tummy to make a good guess for the baby pool.

Do you dare post one??

(If you don't want to, that's okay.)

Basically in a nutshell Liam has developmental delays in his responsive and expressive speech. At 22 months old he only has like 3 words.

I can't believe little Henry was over 10 lbs.!! Was he delivered past his due date?

Oh you are so not getting a picture of me! I gained too much weight with Liam and only managed to get 10 pounds off before I got pregnant again.

    Thanks!

After a quick clean up back at the resort, DH and Liam dropped me off at the Marketplace side of Downtown Disney. The plan was for me to call them later and have them meet me for lunch at the Earl of Sandwich. I’m thinking it was about 9:45am at this point.

I’ll give you the prices of stuff when I can so those of you going for your first trip can get some idea of how much things are.

My first stop was the Days of Christmas store.

The glass snowman with Mouse ears was $14.95, the little Santa hat with ears was $5.00.

Next up was the Pin Traders store. I don’t really collect pins, and I rarely trade them, but I do like to get a few from each trip that represent that vacation and later I put them in the photo album book for that trip. Sorry no pictures….I’m not even sure where the pins are at the moment.
I got a Mickey mystery pack with 2 pins for $12. Mickey as a ghost for $6.95. A Toy Story Mania pin for $8.95. The Tink Visa card holder pin for $6.95. And a cheapo Buzz in a car pin for a $1. That’s $38.19 for pins….I way over spent on pins.

Next up was Once Upon A Toy. If you read my PTR then you know I had a mission in here for Mr. Potato Head parts. They are like my crack. I had a list with me. One side of the list was all the parts I already have, the other side was a list of parts that I either needed or wanted. I have mad skills when it comes to packing that box. I think I was in there for 45 minutes choosing and packing my Mr. Potato box. And for the second trip in a row they were out of the Mary Poppins umbrella. I was very bummed….still am actually.

$20.24 with tax. There were other things in Once Upon A Toy that I wanted but I wanted to wait and get them in World of Disney so I could to use my Visa discount.

It was starting to warm up (I was wearing a sweatshirt) and I was starting to get loaded down with stuff….I didn’t have a backpack or Sherpa (DH) with me to carry things. And it was starting to get crowded. So my next stop was to the lockers to put my new purchases and sweatshirt away.

I took these pictures for you….you should have seen the looks I got when I was taking the one of the lockers!

The lockers are 4 quarters each, every time you lock them. I got $3 worth of quarters from the woman working at the marina. Lockers always seem to eat money so I was already planning on losing some. I seem to do better when I plan for the worst, so I don't get frustrated. The first locker I tried ate all 4 quarters and wouldn’t work. Big surprise. But the next two were fine. I used one for my big croc bag and sweatshirt and another locker to stash my purchases.

I was off to the World of Disney! I know while I was in there I called DH about lunch. Liam was sleeping. So we decided that they would not meet me for lunch….I wanted Liam to get a good nap in that wasn’t in a stroller. I would call when I was about done shopping and either they would come get me, or I would take the bus back to CBR. I was really enjoying shopping by myself. I always feel bad when DH just stands around while I shop….plus I shop in circles. I go round and round the big stores multiple times….and I’m sure it’s annoying to my DH to go back to the same dept. 2 to 3 times in one visit. I was in WOD over an hour. Here’s pictures of what I got!

Four Jibbitz at $3.95 each! Only on vacation would I spend like that. They are on my Crocs bag.

Zippered pouch, $6.00….I love the graphics on this.

In the box, lower left corner, is Vintage luggage stickers $6.00.
To the right of that (with Tink on the cover) is Sticker quotes $4.00….this was a waste of money….all the pages are the same so you only get like 10 different stickers.
Right lower corner is Mickey and Friends stickers $5.00
Then at the top is my red 2008 medium size photo album…it holds 200 4x6 pictures. $20.00

Special edition of theme park Monopoly $39.95….I still haven’t played it yet. Anyone want to come over and play????

Pixar Squeeze set for Liam….Nemo has gone missing. Liam loves these toys. $15.95

Fleece hoodie for Liam….he wears this often. $26.00

I found a fleece for me. I tried it on in the store and it fit. Then I got it home and washed it….lets just say that it will be next winter before I get to wear it for the first time. $54.00.

I got the red onies at the top of the picture for baby. Too bad when I showed it to DH he pointed out that the baby would be born in 2009, not 2008 like the date on the shirt. Oops $14.95

The Mickey Mouse doll on the right is for Baby. We got Liam a Mickey Mouse plush during our 2007 trip so I needed to get Baby one too. I actually like this one better because it is smaller than Liam’s. $16.95

And the last thing from the WOD was a Mickey Mouse t-shirt for Liam….it’s the retro looking one ($14.95)….I got it big so he can wear it this summer. I have no picture, sorry. I love getting Disney clothes for kids in bigger sizes because they tend to be good quality so they last. Liam will be wearing that blue hoddie into the fall…we have to roll the slelves up for him now.

My Visa discount was $23.96 and I spent a whopping $229.61 just in the World of Disney. If you can believe it, this was much less then in years past. Too bad getting rung up by the cashier was a tiny nightmare. The cashier rang everything up and I realized that she wasn’t packaging the bags for resort delivery (like we discussed)….there was no way I could have carried all that stuff, plus what I had in the lockers. So she had to void out the transaction. And re-ring in EVERYTHING. She couldn’t just do something in the computer. She screwed it up the second time too! I helped her re-ring and bag EVERYTHING for the 3rd time, she gets it right finally and then I filled out the delivery paperwork. I finally got out of there at 12:30pm.

There is more shopping to share in the next update.

    MORE shopping???

    Nice! :woohoo:

I didn't see any of that stuff at WoD. But I was shopping with 2 children at the time. Shopping alone would have been wonderful!

GIRL! You got some serious shop on! I love that fuzzy Santa hat with ears, so cute. And I'm all with you on buying the kids clothes a bit bigger so they last longer, especially from the World, because they are such good quality. Honestly, frugal me almost doesn't mind spending those prices, because I know that DS will get a good two years out of whatever item, you know? :goodvibes

I wanted the Vintage stickers but forgot to get them, I did get the sticker quotes and agree with you about it being a waste of money, and I also got the Mickey and Friends stickers.

    Great minds think alike :thumbsup2.

Great update!! Now you have me wanting to get a Mr. Potato Head and the parts :rotfl: .

great shopping spree...I love the little Santa Mickey hat. Have to look for that!

Hey do you know if they sell the Mr. P parts seperately or you have to fill a box?

If yes, I'd be happy to look for you in like 16 days and buy it [umbrella] for you.
