Has anyone ordered any disney wedding invitation samples? If so, do you care to share where you ordered them from. We are having an at home reception, and we want to use disney invitations, but I want to 'really' look at them before we order. I want to be able to spread out the ones that we like, look at them, touch them, etc before we order.

We contacted two different companies about this. Both stated that Disney / Carlson Craft prohibits them from sending out blank or sample Disney Wedding Invitation / Stationary products. They said that we would be best off finding a local vendor that has the books available to see at their store and once we picked what we wanted, doing some price shopping from there.

I went on fairytalewedding.com and looked at their samples on line and called them, told them the Disney invitations I was interested in and also the Mickey shapped fan and they sent me samples within a few days. They sent it to me within a few days. I liked the trifold invitations with the hand drawn Mickey and Mickey with the red accents. I also like the ones with the hidden Mickey in either silver or gold. They send me some of these also. They also sent me some samples of programs and napkins.

They were not blank invitations - they had names, dates and locations on them. I guess they do this so you can not copy a blank invitation and make your own.

Check out their website and give them a call.

Wow! Thanks for the info! We've had no lick finding a local vendor to see the samples in person, and as I said in the post above, we were told by 2 companies that Disney said they couldn't send out samples. I'll try calling them! Thanks!

If you are interested in the Hidden Mickey invitations they are not under the Disney Invitations - from their home page on the right side - there is a heading called Custom Invitations - these are custom Disney invitations. The hand drawn Mickey and Mickey are on the left side under Disney invitations.

    Good luck with your search.

I just ran into the U.S.-only brick wall with that link. :headache:

Here's what I did to help my situation:
    http://www.carlsoncraft.com/index.cfm?intMenuItemID=11108&blnReload=0&

The above web site lets you locate retailers and Internet web sites near you. You can phone their 1-800 number or fill out a form. They'll let you know where you can buy invitations near you. Or at the very least, I was able to contact someone in my hometown to order a sample for me.
