In need of cost cutting tips across the board! HELP Please!

Did you have to pay a fee to sign with these debt consolidaters. I have heard thats not a wise thing to do...any others have an opinion on this?

Do not use a debt consolidation company, it could make a bad situation much worse. If you feel you need someone to help, use Consumer Credit Counseling Service. They are the most respected credit counseling organization out there. Most (if not all) the personal finance authors do not recommend credit counseling, but if you have to go down that route then they recommend CCCS. Their services are free, but they will ask you for a monthly donation (which is entirely up to you). The service my mom received was wonderful, we couldn't have been happier with them. They treated mom with respect and decency every time we contacted them.
