im thinking about starting my own business...

as a wedding planner/coorindater. but I dont know how to go about it, like schooling, or etc... I live in a small town and there are no coordinators here or I would apply for a job so I can get experience.

Are any of you coordinators, or know of any, that could give me tips.. on how to get started..

I too am from a small town where the need for a wedding planner/ coordiantor is quite limited. Many ladies in this area that help to coordinate weddings started out working at a bridal registry at a department store, working for a photographer, or a caterer. I know this isn't the same as starting your own business right away, but at least it could give you some experience and help you build a clientel list or something. Good Luck!
