EVERYTHING costs extra there. I was pretty surprised the DD could go down the slide for free. We just stayed out of the lazy river. It was way too annoying. Otherwise, it was a very nice pool. The ones at Saratoga were better

I know it!! I didn't ask many questions. I just got it out of her kitchen like she wanted. I have enjoyed it so much.

Yep, I messed it up good. It was nice to not have to deal with the scooter. But I missed it some later in the trip.

Day 3 – Part one

We got up about 8 AM and packed up our things and headed over to Saratoga Springs to check in. I had DS take photos while we checked in.

Yes, I know it isn’t much. I will post more photos of the resort later. Our room wasn’t ready so we headed to our park for the day which was Animal Kingdom.

We saw Divine. She is hard to see in this photo.

We were headed towards Dinoland

We saw these beautiful parrots just flying around everywhere. I’m not entirely sure how they keep them contained, but they always came back.

Dinoland. My kids used to love this playground. Now they are too big



DD and DH headed over to ride Dinosaur (which I hate), while DS and I cruised the shops and took a bunch of photos for your viewing pleasure.

After DH and DD rode Dinosaur, we headed over to Africa to ride the Safari with our FP’s. Photos along the way.

I do have a question... I'm hoping to go to F&G next year and I noticed that the Festival Center sign said it was only open Friday through Sunday. I love the merch but was planning on attending during the week to avoid the crowds. Were there other merch stands around the festival or just in the center?? I may have to rearrange my plans! To tell the truth, I never noticed that it was only open on the weekend. This was a Saturday that we were there. Tanks so much for following along. And yes, they had the same merchandise throughout the park.

Then we headed back to Dinoland. The kids wanted to eat lunch at Restaurantosaurus. Some photos on the way.

It was good and filled us up. After that, DH and DS left to take our stuff to our room and get it unloaded. They had sent us a text to tell us our room was ready.

They were so pretty. I guess they stick around for the food I mean they really had them trained to came back.

I would have to say Hollywood Studios is my least favorite. That park really needs several things added to it. We were counting and there are literally only five rides. I mean there are other things that are considered "attractions", like the shows and stuff like that. But when you think about it, almost $100 for just five rides? It needs an upgrade. I do love the themeing of AK.

I have seen some really cute owl fabric.

Day 3 – Part Three

While DH and DS were getting our things settled in the room, DD and I hung around in Dinoland until it was time for our Primeval Whirl FP’s.

We rode our ride and moved on to check out the shops while we waited for our Everest FP’s.

On to Everest. DD was terrified to ride this for MANY years. We got here to finally ride it last year and now she loves it.

We had about an hour before the boys got back so we hopped in line to see Nemo.

After that, the boys called and said they were on their way back, so we went to the front of the park to meet them because I still had DS’s magic band and he needed it to get back in the park.

Then, it was time for our dinner at Yak and Yeti!!

We got to sit upstairs and had the best view.

Too bad they aren’t running the parade any more. This would have been a great place to see it.

For an appetizer, we ordered the wok fried green beans.

Wok-Fried Green Beans- battered green beans, sweet Thai chili dipping sauce $8.99

We really like these, but the real winner here is the sauce. A little sweet, a little savory, with a little heat at the end. I mean this stuff would make Melba Toast taste good.

For our Entrees, DD – miss picky-pick got Chicken nuggets. Boring.

I got the salmon YUM!!

Seared Miso Salmon- miso glazed Atlantic salmon, coconut-ginger rice, baby bok choy and shiitake mushroom stir-fry $24.99



This was very tasty and had great flavor and the Salmon was cooked well. I would get this again in a heartbeat.

DS got the Lo Mein

Lo Mein- Lo Mein noodles, carrots, cabbage, green onions, bean sprouts; Chicken $18.99; Shrimp $19.99; Combo $19.99 $17.99/19.99

I think he got beef in it though. Anyway, it was a hug portion of food and he ate most of it.
