If we can keep this trip a secret, it will be a Disney miracle! *TR LINK ADDED 12/12!*

Love the bows! I'm going to attempt to make some ears for our next trip--wish me luck!

Congrats on applying for the panel--I'll be cheering you on!

The boys grow fast--enjoy every moment! I remember the first day of kindergarten and now they are in college and medical school--how did THAT happen?

Wish we could have taken my oldest to Legoland--he would have loved it. As mentioned above he's just started medical school and moved into his own apartment. Guess what's still in my basement--tons of legos. He won't let me get rid of them!

Thanks! Oh, I love seeing the ears that people make. I have zero crafty skills so I would be hopeless but I'm excited to see what you make!

Thanks again - should be hearing something in a couple of weeks!

Time is flying already - loving every minute!

Legoland was amazing for Nate - that is his everything right now. And we have big tubs of my husbands old Legos - I don't think your son is alone is holding onto those!

You're making me want to go to legoland.

Love the lunch box and the ears.

How's keeping the secret going?

Legoland was a really cute park! Lots of fun for Lego lovers - the mini scenes of Legos were my favorite!

Thanks - we love Star Wars around here!

The secret is still a secret! I think it's going to get harder when I have to start packing and shopping for the trip!

I'm caught up! I was months behind, but I am current now!!

Legoland looks like fun, for a quick trip. Sorry the in-laws are less than cooperative with planning; I can't handle that. and my partner is that way; our first WDW trip as a family is gonna be interesting!!

One Man's Dream: my sis has the CM scoop and she tells me they will shut it down, but only to move it to another location. Not sure when though, so don't write it out just yet!!

I hope yesterday went well and you got all your FP selections as well as great flights!!

It's FastPass+ time!

****************************************
-1 Days until FP+
59 Days until Disney!

Secret Status - :ssst: :thumbsup2
****************************************

Guess what day it is? FastPass+ day! Or at least it was yesterday...:thumbsup2

Now we're at 59 days! :yay: :santa:

I got everything that I wanted but did alter some plans since my last spreadsheet post.

So my plans as of now (because we all know there will be some tweaking)

I decided to switch the order of my FP+ in HS thanks to a suggestion by Billie (@Elevationist) to minimize walking and put us in the area of the Osborne lights after our final FP+ at Star Tours. This will also put as at the TOT exit for Characterpalooza...I'm having trouble finding out if this is still going on. I'm planning on subscribing to Kenny the Pirate's Character Locator but want to wait a few weeks so I have it for all of my upcoming trips.

For our MK day, I decided to switch out 7DMT for BTMRR. I'm hoping we can ride this once standby and once with a FP+. Rumors are that it will be down for refurb during our May trip so I want to be sure to squeeze in a ride!

My FP+ before MVMCP are pretty much the same as before. Right after our 7DMT ride, I want to hop into line at Princess Fairytale Hall to meet Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. I was really disappointed that he ended up not meeting at MNSSHP last year so hopefully we will get to see him this year!

In other news...

-I canceled my extra ADRs at Sci Fi and Ohana. I was able to coordinate a drop for the Ohana ADR with someone who was searching, so I'm happy that worked out!

-Round 2 notifications for the Moms Panel should be coming out sometime between now...and the next 2 weeks. Very nervous waiting period but there are so many great moms (and dads and grandparents) that I've met during the application process so that makes waiting easier!

-Southwest is not releasing flights for our May trip until October 27th so I have some time still. I need to start a PTR for that trip soon to discuss ADRs since I'm planning on a few new ones!

-We picked out Halloween costumes for the boys last weekend!

Colin is Dash from The Incredibles, Nate is Ezra from Star Wars Rebels, and Jake is Mickey (obviously, ), and I'm going to be Minnie. We will be a very Disney family!

I'm hoping I can finish up the mini TR on Legoland and Sea World in the next few weeks. I also need to get our outfits organized. Then packing will begin for real in about a month! And there is the big reveal to plan! Hopefully busy days will make the wait easier!

I can't wait to hear about your trip! I hope everything is going well with your new home!!

We loved Legoland, especially for Nate. I should be used to the in laws lack of advance planning but it's been 8 years of marriage and it's still not ok with me. You know how the groom's family plans the rehearsal dinner? They booked a restaurant the day before! And we were engaged for 1.5 years!

That's really good to hear about One Man's Dream. If we don't see this trip, I hope we can catch it in May or even during my solo trip next fall.

FP+ went well! 59 days left!

I booked a last minute trip and I just realized we overlap our trip is a bit shorter then yours 11/28-12/1! We are also staying at the POP!

I love the costumes I need to get on that for DD!

Excited to also hear about your May Trip!

Yay on FP+, looks like you got a lot of great choices.

Thanks! I'm really happy with our schedule - especially since we got 7DMT!

Love the costumes, Jake is a super cute Mickey!

He is really cute! He wants to wear that costume all the time now!

Ahh, exciting! Maybe we'll have to arrange a time to say hi!

We waited a little to late on getting costumes one year and didn't have many choices. My oldest had very specific requests for this year so I wanted to make sure we got what he wanted!

It's kind of crazy to be planning two trips at once - lots of ideas and plans running through my head all the time!

Following along. We're heading down the week after you guys are there.

Thanks for following along! Congratulations on your trip!

Yay I'm glad you got the FP+ you wanted! Your plans all look so great, I'm excited for you and can't wait to ultimately read about this trip!

Oh I hope you do get to meet Rapunzel + Flynn at the party! :lovestruc

The boys look so cute in their costumes!

I'm really happy with our plans. I feel like I'm making more realistic plans for this trip and hopefully not scheduling too much!

I really hope Rapunzel and Flynn are there! The boys love Flynn Rider and Nate was really disappointed that we didn't get to meet him last October.

Thanks - they are in love with those costumes and want to wear them all the time!

Grats on all your FastPass luck! Hoping for the same for myself this Sunday!!!

Thanks! Pixie dust to you, friend! :tinker:

We picked out Halloween costumes for the boys last weekend!

OMG I love those costumes. My DD wants to be a cowgirl and I keep saying "Jesse is a cowgirl, you should be her!!" but she isn't buying it lol

Thanks - we found just the perfect one for each boy! Jessie would be such a fun costume - I hope she comes around to the idea!

"No, we're not going to Disney this time..." TR Part 5 - Legoland Again!

We had just left the Land of Chima and were headed back to the Lego Kingdoms area to check out some attractions!

The first attraction we came to was a small coaster called The Dragon. Jim, SIL, MIL, Nate, and Colin went on this one. Jake wasn't tall enough so we sat out with FIL.

Dragon faces before getting in line!

FIL and I took Jake to a little shop to look around and then found a shady bench. I'm pretty sure I gave Jake a snack at this point and some water. Because it was HOT! I was really not prepared for Florida in June. It was miserably hot and humid. We did invest in some cooling towels before the trip and those helped a bunch!

After The Dragon coaster, we headed over to a jousting ride. Jake was not tall enough, yet again. This was one of the most frustrating parts of our visit to Legoland. Jake didn't meet the height requirement for many rides. He was content to wander around and eat snacks, but it was hard to see him having to sit out on so many attractions.

Nate and Colin did have a blast on the joust!

And Jake was pretty happy checking out the Lego wolf that we found.

I'm pretty sure he was trying to feed it mulch?

I did enjoy the beautiful landscaping in this area. Lots of cypress trees...or I think that's what they are?

After our time in the Lego Kingdoms, we were headed to the area I was most excited about - Miniland!

"No, we're not going to Disney this time..." TR Part 6 - Legoland Miniland!

I was really excited to see the Miniland area - I had read a few TRs about Legoland and I was interested to see the level of detail in each scene.

This post will be lots of pictures and not much text since the scenes speak for themselves!

First up, a pirate ship. There was a button that would fire water cannons on the ship!

Golden Gate Bridge

A wide view of the Miniland USA area - lots to take in!

The Washington Monument

The US Capitol

You can see the minifigures in front of the Capitol building. You could push a button on the railing and the band actually marched and played a tune!

New York City and the Statue of Liberty

The Space Needle

Las Vegas - MGM Grand and Paris Hotels

Jake checking out Cape Canaveral

See those metal circles? They surrounded each scene. And they were HOT! Colin leaned on one for a little too long and had a red circle on his arm for a few days after - I guess a burn? :(

And our final stop in Miniland USA, Legowood/Hollywood

Our next stop was the one Nate was looking forward to the most - Star Wars Miniland!

That jousting rude looks so cute!

Sorry Jake missed out on so much. Once you've taken little folks to wdw I think it spoils other places. From what I understand wdw has more stuff for the babes than most places.

Sorry about the weather! Summer down here can be brutally hot. Combine that with all the moisture in the air and it's like living in a sauna.

Mini land looks so cute!! Can't wait to see the Star Wars part!

That joust ride looks so cute!

I've seen pictures of Miniland before and love it! It's so nicely done!

I'm sorry about Jake having to sit out a lot, but it doesn't sound like he was too bothered by it which is a good thing!
