I would like to see more handicapped rooms in the resorts per building. It's really difficult when there are only 5 rooms available with a roll-in shower - and they all have king beds. My husband does not visit Disney. I don't want to share a bed with the relative or friend who is with me.

Wake up, hotel owners. All handicapped people do not have a spouse who loves Disney.

    Thanks for listening. :goodvibes

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking but ...
I'd like to see them stop doing the loud pool parties during the afternoons ... I don't see why they need to have DJ's screaming into a microphone and blasting the music so loud (save the loud music for the Parks). Some people like to come back to the resorts in the early afternoon and just chill for while.

All resorts should have a fitness center.

More realistic options for a family of 7 (2 adults, 5 younger kids) like more opportunity to getting connecting rooms, etc.

I know we are the odd larger family. But I see questions about connecting rooms constantly and that seems to be a reasonable request when reserving a year ahead at rack rates

I wish that you could get guaranteed connecting rooms at any resort.

And loyalty discounts based on the number of previous onsite stays.

This, and I second more moderate choices for a family of 5 (or even larger). It is nice to see more hotels offering a sleeper sofa option finally.

I agree with a pp that suggest having larger rooms for bigger families.

They do - 4 theme parks with miles of walking trails and 2 water parks with a million stair steps each!

I'd rather walk or jog up a staircase with a water slide at the top then stare at a wall for 30 minutes while exercising on a StairMaster!

I know this isn't what you meant - I'm just being silly. I'm so tired from enjoying the parks that going to the "gym" is the last thing on my mind!

If the pictures of the CBR Refurb that were posted a while back are accurate, it looks like CBR will have a fold down bed like AB section of POR.

I agree with this, for sure. This is very important to me, and missing it for anything beyond a week starts to really have a negative impact.

I would also suggest more "bookable" categories. You should be able to BOOK, mansions section rooms at POR. Ranchos or Cabanas at CSR. Etc. Some of these are deal breakers for guests. On our last trip we wanted Mansions section POR and had NO interest in AB section.

While we are a family of 3, so space isn't an issue for us, I think there needs to be more affordable options for families of 5 and more. At the very least guaranteed adjoining rooms if booked that way.

I agree with that. I originally was going to stay at POR and the mansion section was the only one I wanted. Plus Disney should actually show what the AB rooms look like in their Preferred Room Photos since ALL POR preferred rooms are in Alligator Bayou. Weird.

I would like to see more of the Murphy beds (like AoA) rather than fold out couches (for both size & comfort). I think it would also be great to have 2 sleeper chairs rather than one pull out couch in most resorts to more easily accommodate groups that don't want to share beds but really don't need a second room.

I also think that resort QS should have very early hours (6ish). Early risers shouldn't have to wait until 7:30 to get breakfast, especially on checkout days when people really need to grab a bite and head to the airport.

Definitely more options for families to have separate spaces with real beds, no pullouts. Like the kid suites at Universal.

    smoke-free outdoor benches

It seemed as if most, if not all, of the benches were designated smoking areas...BC, POP, and AoA come to my mind immediately. It's disgusting to be sitting on the only available bench on the Boardwalk by the BC and a smoker walk over and light up, forcing me to immediately get up and leave so my asthma won't act up.

I know Disney makes the best outdoor areas designated smoking areas to encourage smokers to use them, but it is still disgusting considering it is a family resort.

I also like the idea of at least a basic fitness room at all the resorts. Why shouldn't the POP have at least a weight room?
