I'd like to put together a carry on bag full of goodies for DD9 (at time of cruise) to keep her entertained on the airplanes, in the airports, hotel, and in port before boarding the Dream. I'd also like to include some gifts just to get her even more excited than she'll already be (not to mention it gives me a way to pass the next 16 months!!!).

What kind of items should I include? Any DCL themed stuff for kids that I can order online?

    Thanks!

It's hard to find DCL stuff, but check out the disney outlet.com for general character stuff. Also see if your local Macy's has any of the Sailor Mickey plush left (on line is sold out, they were $2.22 on sale!).

Sunscreen (dolphin safe), lip gloss with SPF protection, a word puzzle book (or other quiet activity that she enjoys), a book about sea life or one of your destinations......

I just came across this cute set today and thought it was perfect for a Disney Cruise toy:

I might be the last one, but I had never seen these sets before (they have many different kinds of sets). Looks similar to Legos which all 3 of my kids are into these days... :)

and here's another thematically appropriate one:

These sets are great - we have all of them now, and they are just like Lego, just not "Lego" brand.

My kids had a blast putting them together and now they have a mini park in the family room!

My DS8 loves his little pocket Yahtzee game. It's electronic and is about the size of a credit card... it's great for waiting in lines.
