Unfortunately that's all I've got.
I'll have lots of Kidani pics in the next installment though.

You must have posted while I was replying to Rentayenta -- I almost missed your post. Yes, the food at Boma is delicious...we love it!
I won't be able to get another installment up tonight, but hopefully soon!
Hey, you folks on here generally like dog pictures I've noticed. Here's ours, our 1 year old bichon named Swiffer. (This was the first picture ever taken with my camera, by the way.)
I'm posting this today because the little guy is on his way home right now from an expensive day at the vet. Over the weekend he was um, how to put this delicately, having issues at both ends. By this morning he was dehydrated and had to be put on an IV. He'll be home tonight and we'll have to watch how he does. He goes back to the vet tomorrow to either get more fluids or the IV taken out.
omg, he is sooo cute! I had a cockapoo growing up and urs looks like a smaller version of my snowball. Hope swiffer is feeling better!!!
Your sweet puppy is adorable - I hope he is feeling better today and can come off the IV... Sending my happy thoughts!
Swiffer is adorable!!! Glad he is on the mend!
Enjoyed the Boma review. It is one of our favorites also, even though we didn't eat there this trip. You had some of my favorites in your pictures, especially the pasta salad and the prime rib with the Boma mustard sauce....mmm!
Check out my OKW trip report in my siggie sometime and you will see some of the same stuff in my pictures from Boma. The kids really liked the pineapple upside down cheesecake and of course you can't do Boma without the zebra domes!
Are the kids back in school yet? The local schools started back here again yesterday, although Alison had to report back to work last week. Matthew has been back for two weeks already. The new freshmen reported this past Saturday and he is obviously having too much fun so far "welcoming" them.
Poor Swiffer!!! Is he doing better today?
Awesome, can't wait to see them!!!
The little guy is doing better today. He ate (for the first time since Friday) and was looking for more, although we're only allowed to give him a little bit at a time. He went to the vet and got the IV taken out and is back home. He's not completely back to his old self, but improving. Thanks for the well-wishes.
Yes, I'll have to check out your TR....I'm surprised I haven't already.
No, school doesn't start until August 31st, but my oldest has started marching band practice every day and will have band camp later this week and over the weekend.
"Welcoming" can be fun, as long as it doesn't go too far.
Swiffer is so cute and glad that he is on the mend.
very much enjoying your report! We are also a family of 5, (although we're boy-boy-girl), and are staying DVC this November. (my parents own). We will be staying at POR, OKW AND AKV! Same idea as you all - the first two nights at POR cause it's the weekend and we want to save points....I'm excited to be at AKV- we are in the Jambo house, but we'll def walk over to Kadani to check it out.
Congrats to your wife for doing so well with her own business. Makes me want to whip up something yummy, as I can guess by your comments which one she works for. (baking stone, anyone? )
Whew! I am finally caught up enough to make a few comments!
First, I'm glad your dog is doing better! He's a cutie. Loved the teacup and BTMRR pics!
I'm sorry you had to wait that long. We often had to wait on our trip, the crowds were insane. Worst wait was Teppan Edo, probably close to 30 minutes but PTC was a good 20 I'd say.
Still, it sounds like Randall more than made up for it and I love the dining review and pictures. This is a definite for us on our next trip. I am really impressed they let you make that kind of trade on the kids meal, I am (sadly) guessing it is b/c you were not on the DDP.
Anything that is described as tasting like Christmas MUST be tried!
Ah the joys of waking kids. Still your arrival times are impressive! The face painting idea is
what WONDERFUL Biergarten pictures! My poor digital just couldn't hack the low light interior shots. Thank you for sharing these. Ah, the berry concoction and the bavarian cheesecake. 2 of our absolute favorite desserts of our trip. Even better if you pour the berry concoction over the cheesecake!
Me too! Sounds like you had a great time at PTC, we loved it there. I think you are right about party size, we didn't get a TV either....
That stuff is amazing, liquid gold.
I agree. 2 of our gang are less adventuresome than the others and even the adventuresome ones like a little mac and cheese on the side at times.
He's been eating well and has been a little more playful tonight, so I think he's coming around. Thanks!
First off, I'm glad you're enjoying it.
POR is nice resort and a great way to save some points. Even though it's cheaper, it's still a lot of fun. I've never stayed at OKW but I know a couple of different families who only stay there and love it. You'll love AKV.
Oh you're good.
I didn't want to mention it explicitly...I imagine the mods have rules against shameless plugging. But, if you need anything....
Next year's trip is Disney, so we're hoping she can earn that for us.
Wow! Thanks for all of your wonderful comments!
Looking back on it, I'd say Randall was probably the best server we had. Not just that he gave us some freebies -- he was very attentive and personable. We also had a very good server at Kona Cafe, which I haven't gotten to yet in the TR.
Yes, the chai cream is worth a try.
That was the main reason I upgraded to an SLR. I hated being disappointed by interior pictures.
I never even thought to pour the berry concoction over the cheesecake! ...... Looks like I'll have to go back!
Okay...trying to catch up as I sit here coughing up a lung.
Lights, Motor, Action is a great show. We can never time our visit to DHS right so we can see this show again. I do have it scheduled for one of my solo days....we'll see.
In my 13 visits to WDW, I only run into someone I knew one time and it was in 1991, my first visit.
Boma--have yet to eat there....it may be on the backburner for this upcoming trip as well...
Take your time and get better. But don't forget to disinfect the keyboard when you're done.
I couldn't believe our youngest traveler was the one to see someone he knew. Kids create quite a network of friends and acquaintances.
And you call yourself a WDW fan? You really, really, really have to try it.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jiko so I know I'd love the distinct flavors of Boma! MAYBE, instead of hitting up Jiko, I'll eat at Boma instead......
Well, I must confess.....I've never eaten at Jiko. So, this hypocrite can't really say which one's better.
