I really need to stop obsessing about my wait list, I find myself checking it 3 to 4 times a day, and it's just crazy. I'm sure we will still have fun at least we are at WDW! I just need to sell myself on it.

:rotfl: I did the same thing! I checked before work, a couple times during work and then after dinner! I was obessed too! Then approx. two weeks later I went on and there it was---my new reservation!! I was so excited!! So hang in there and keep checking--you are not alone!!!;)

This was an anomaly, but it happened for my up coming vacation. I had 1 night BCV 3 nights AKV and DH found out he could come after work on Monday.:) The problem would be that he wouldn't really get to enjoy BCV which he enjoys more than AKV, so I waitlisted 1 night at BCV and MS was to keep the other 2 nights at AKV. It's a good thing I checked the waitlist because although I had 2 nights at BCV, I had nothing else!!!!

The problem has been fixed, thank you:goodvibeshowever, if I wasn't checking as often as I was, who knows:confused3I could have even just shown up on June 15 expecting a 4 night vacation when I only had 2 at that point.

    So check!!!!

    Bobbi:goodvibes

I have the same problem. I am waitlisted for BLT in November and I check daily. I loved Kidani, but I really want to try out our new home. :cloud9:

I hear you... I was doing that earlier this year. We were waitlisted to go to HHI this month. Thought we'd try it this year, before I realized you needed to book at 7mos or earlier if possible. Lesson learned. So I was checking every day for the waitlist. In late April I got tired of waiting, and being frustrated, so I cancelled the waitlist and decided just to go to OKW in August and try HHI another year where we could plan further out in advance.

I check it at least twice a day myself. My sons each have their own reservation and are both on waitlist.

They will probably not get it since I waitlisted the entire stay and not just the one or two nights that were not available in the resort they wanted.

Okay so it is good to know that I am not crazy.... well at least by standards here.(thats why I love it here so much) I know I shouldnt but I can not help myself...

I check several times a day and I begining to think I am addicted to the rush right before you click on the "View Vacation Details button"

I am even trying to come up with other scenarios that might work....

Oh boy.... at least there are only 88 days left....... Oh wow I need my waitlist to come thru so I can start obsessing over making my autograph books and everything else I need to get done for the trip....:rotfl2:

I SOOOOOOO wish that MS could tell us where we stood on the wait list so I would know if I even had a chance!!!!!

I do the same thing. I check it almost every day. Ours is just a view change, but I'm still hoping it comes through.

I'd be nice if there was an automated email when a change goes through on a booking.

I am right there with everyone. I am WL'd for BLT for 2 nights during our August trip. I originally was going to AKV (my DD13 really wanted to) and then the more we talked about things, the more we realized we wanted to try BLT. By the time I called, it was June so my chances are slim.

But, I check the site 2 times a day AND call to see if rooms open up on the other days of my trip. I hope MS doesn't keep track of how much I call...my DH says I will be blacklisted!!!!!:rotfl2:

My waitlist for January 2010 just came through. We were waited listed for 6 nights a BWV-standard view studio. They called me last night and had a question and I called today and it went through. (I booked BCV for 5 nights, but wanted BWV for 6 nights -- MS was a little confused.) So now instead of using 65 points at BCV for 5 nights, we are using 66 points at BWV for 6 nights. I called exactly 7 months out at 9:00AM and one night was not available. Now I can book airfare when it's released.

We called right at 11 mos to get 2 BW view studios over Thanksgiving holiday. Only 1 was available, so we booked it along with a pool view, and WL'ed for a BW view on the 2nd studio. I was really bummed because we are treating some friends on this trip and wanted them to have a BW view, even to the point of considering swapping rooms with them. (They are REALLY good friends for me to even think about giving up my BW view...LOL)

Anyway, I checked my reservation everyday to see if my waitlist came through and it didn't for 6 months. Recently, I was busy at work and didn't get to check for over a week. Well, I finally remembered to check yesterday and, lo and behold, our WL had come through on July 5. So, I guess it's the "watched pot never boils" theory. So, you may want to stop checking for a while to see if the same happens to you. It's worth a try.

    Good Luck.
