When do they show it ? I know it is after parks closing , but is it like 1 hour after the closing or something else. I know usually everyone is heading for the buses or monorail or whatever right after Wishes, but I was wondering if I should hang out in the stores until it happens. and what about MNSSHP , do they show it then ? Just a lil curious .

Don't build up too much "anticipation" of seeing this very, very small and brief "show."
It's mostly just a short audio recording and colored lights on the castle.
However, it can be a nice close to an MK day.

This is a great site to keep BOOKMARKED for future reference.

The following site posts the stage shows, in-park and other on-property shows and their times for the CURRENT week.
    (It is updated every weekend.)
The times may be "similar" for other dates as well.

    Click below-

    Steve Soares' TIMES GUIDE Site

Click on the colored links for the various parks
to open their listings and view their show times.

Be sure to check back to the site as the actual dates of your trip get closer.

It's charming. I think everyone should stay for it at least once. Did it for the first time last year with my adult DS and DD. We had our arms around each other in the light drizzling rain, watching the castle lights change and then go out. I wept. :cloud9::love:

This is one of my favorite things to do at Disney. It is very romantic for couples. The lights change on the castle and they play classic disney music. My husband and I try to do this at least once each trip. We grab a sweet snack and spend a few minutes of quite. It is a great way to end the day as the crowds leave the park. We like to sit near the castle and then have a slow walk down main street. The transportation to the resorts is easy to take as the crowds are gone.:lovestrucprincess:

I had seen a video on youtube and really enjoyed the music that is played, even it is more or less a combination of other scores. The first time we stayed for it our in-laws were with us and my MIL (who is a great MIL, BTW) said "Is that all it is?" Just depends on your view or expectations but I love to stay a little later and watch it.

My fiance proposed to me in front of the castle when we went in February over Valentine's Day. As soon as I said YES, the Kiss Goodnight started. (It was perfect timing and I don't think he planned it!) It was really romantic and a great way to end the day. There weren't many people around, we were pretty much the only ones. We sat on a bench in front of the castle and watched the show. It really was a peaceful way to end the day. We enjoyed it a lot and plan on seeing it again on our next trip in December!

    Enjoy! :lovestruc

The Kiss Goodnight is only really appreciated by HUGE WDW afficianados.:)

I wouldn't even call it a show-there just isn't enough to it to warrant that title.:)

But,as mentioned,big-time WDW fans absolutely LOVE it and it is very "moving" to that group(of which I am one).:)

Try to position yourself by one of the Main Street USA speakers-sometimes the audio can be "challenging" to hear completely.:)

Great advice, I just did not know if you were able to stay inside the park to see it , or if they gave you the boot. Thanks

You can watch it on You Tube. It lasts about 3 minutes.

We've always left a little early & didn't know about this. We'll hang out this year. It looks pretty.

You can remain in the park for at least an hour to hour and a half after closing. They do not rush you out at all.
