We went out to dinner tonight with friends and we went to this awesome pizza place where you can get pizza by the meter. The pizza was SO good I overindulged and now I feel sick to my stomach! I guess this should teach me a valuable lesson! We ate over 3 hours ago and I still have an overstuffed, full, icky feeling belly. At least tomorrow is another day and I can jump back on program!

I hope you are feeling better soon. We all overindulge once in a while, so don't be hard on yourself. You have the right attitude....back on program tomorrow. Good luck, and again, hope you feel better:)

Ooooh! I know that feeling! I hope that you are feeling better soon!

I was oh sooo bad today but that's ok. One day at a time! I had popcorn at the movies and then went out to a fish place and had fried haddock, onion rings and then moose track ice cream! Can you tell that I am PMSing? :) I figured I'd get all my cravings (salt, grease & chocolate) out of the way at one time so I can move on.

But now I am paying the price with indigestion. I am drinking iced water with lemon and that always makes me feel better.

    Tomorrow is another day!

It must be something in the air... We went to Carraba's tonight for DD (almost 12) birthday on Monday. I'm not a big bread freak, but love theirs dipped in olive oil. And don't forget shrimp scampi with toast points for appetizer, and my absolute favorite there is scallops and garlic mashed potatoes. At least I brought half of those home for another meal. So after having been doing pretty well, today was somewhat of a disaster. :o :o

Oh, yes, and tomorrow's birthday cake for DD, but any leftovers of that will go in the trash or with DH to work on Monday!!

    Take care all,
    Lois

Lisa, the best description of a meter is to think of a yard stick and add a little bit to it. They slice it into 8 pieces and it was SO good. We were a party of 9 and we had 3 meters plus a a baby pizza. I ate 3-1/2 pieces (cutting the crust off), just couldn't help myself.

If you get grossed out easily, don't read any further......

I was so stuffed from not eating as much food the last 40+ days that I actually threw it up before going to bed. My stomach was upset all night and this morning didn't feel so hot either. Lesson learned, no matter how good it looks and tastes, eat in moderation or you will feel icky!

I am another one who overindulged on Saturday. I went with a friend to an Italian restaurant we had never been to. The bread was so good. I did only eat 1/2 of the meal, but still received a headache after the meal for 2hrs. and still felt yucky later that night. Today is a new day and I am back on track. There really must have been something in the air.

Oh my!!! I hope you are feeling better now, Debbi!!! I'm sorry to hear that you got sick from the pizza. Well, at least it was good when you ate it! ;) Were those slices really big? 3 1/2 doesn't sound like too much, especially if you took the crust off.

I guess the silver lining her is that your body lets you know what is good for you. :) I'm glad you've adjusted to eating healthier foods and smaller portions. After all, you are healthier and smaller yourself now!!!

Jill, what the heck is moose track ice cream? ;)

    Hope your feeling better.

I, too, overindulged this weekend. Went to Ryan's Steakhouse (buffet) on Saturday and ate whatever I wanted. Also had a bunch of appetizers yesterday at a local bar and grill.

I'm back on track this morning, though. :teeth:

Debbi, where are you? Are you in a pizza coma? Come back!!! :) Don't make me fly to Italy to track you down. I don't want to have to comb the streets looking for someone with mozzerella cheese hanging out of the side of their mouth as they sleep in the gutter outside the Pizza by the Meter store. ;)

OMG - There must be something in the air!! We had an office party Friday so I knew I'd go overboard but really kept myself in check and didn't do too bad. Saturday, DH and I watched the NCAA games at a local bar and drank - a lot! Plus the buffalo wings, and sour cream and chive battered fries! Yikes! I was so sick sunday the only thing that made me feel better were bagels with butter!!

I am back to the plan today though and hope to keep myself in check next weekend!

Karen, I am sitting here with a dopey grin on my face and chuckling out loud, you are too funny! It sounds like a lot of us had a bad weekend, that only means we will do better this week, right!! I have recovered from my pizza binge, I just have a busy week on tap, Scholastic Book Fair week and I am the chairperson so I am a busy girl. I was on my feet from 9-3:30 today and then I went to the gym like a good girl and did my workout....after all weigh-in is tomorrow morning! LOL. Hope everyone who indulged this weekend is having a better Monday.

Glad you are feeling better, Debbie.

My goodness gracious, look at all of the weekend casualties. Do I get a gold star for being a good girl?

Okay, everyone, weekend is over, now onward and downward. ;)

I must fess up to, you all! I had a rotten weekend - tacos Saturday, pizza last night and donuts for breakfast Sunday morning! UGH! Plus, I drank too much Friday night (so much for my 2 drink maximum promise).

But I know I can't do anything about it now but learn from my mistakes and try not to repeat them! I did work out this morning and I'm going to try my best to "be good" since my weigh-in will coming quickly upon me on Wednesday.

Glad your feeling better Debbi! And everyone else out there, don't beat yourself up too hard.

Katholyn, if I knew how to post a gold star you certainly would get one. I guess this is the next best thing.

<marquee>Katholyn earned a GOLD STAR this weekend. You go girl! </marquee>
