I am never riding Space Mountain again! A Marathon Weekend TR Complete

Enjoy your final days of high school! Hope it is mostly smooth sailing from now until graduation. There is some sort of malady going around our senior class- tomorrow is Senior Skip Day.

Really cute Main Street photopass pictures. You got some great family pictures.

Fantastic pictures of Festival of Fantasy. I am so glad I watched it for the first time in January. Wow! I love the closeup picture of the dragon!

Well, I know what you did when you got back to the resort. And what you DIDN'T do!!! (Say hello ) :(

I know you were being polite and trying not to interrupt...

We had senior skip day today! We went to a Milwaukee Brewers Game.

Thanks! I really love the parade.

Oh I know I regret not saying hello but I didn't want to disrupt your conversation.

I really enjoyed your festival of fantasy photos, I love that parade! I noticed a lot of great details in your photos that I missed in person, the floats and costumes are all so elaborate.

Big Thunder Mountain is my favorite ride too.

That's really cool that you saw characterpallooza. Your family really got some great photos on this trip.

I had a lot of posts to catch up so congrats on college decisions, your scholarship, turning 18, & almost being done with your senior year!

Thanks! I love that parade.

BTMRR is the best.

I've never done a characterpalooza before so it was a lot of fun.

Thanks! It wasn't easy to decide on a college. Only two and a half weeks of school left!

Playing catch up today around the DIS because things are quite here at work for once. I can't believe your report is almost over but at least you have another trip to look forward to.

Happy Belated Birthday and congratulations on graduating High School and picking a college to attend!

Glad you caught up!

Almost over yet I'll have a PTR soon after this one ends!

Thank you!

Beautiful shots of the FoF parade! We've missed it during our last 2 visits, but it looks like a DEFINITE Must Do !!!! :)

Our last night at Disney...

Well we went back to the Beach Club after a fantastic day at the Magic Kingdom. I had an idea of what to do with our remaining night. It wasn't supposed to rain and the temperature was around 70. We hadn't used the pool yet! The best Disney resort pool and I really needed to try it out!

Okay so we swam for only about a half hour but it was a fun half hour. Sydnee and I went down the slide several times. The lifeguard at the top was wearing a hat, gloves and a jacket and here I was in a swimsuit. Hopefully I can get back to the BC in the future when its a bit warmer and I have a bit more time to try the pool.

So what did we do next?

Star Wars Fireworks! Thats right folks we changed and headed on a boat to see the Star Wars fireworks.

My grandma and Judy were hungry when we arrived so I showed them where the nearest quick service was since my sisters and I weren't in need of a meal just yet. So they headed off to Catalina Eddie's. Sydnee wanted a BB-8 sipper which they sold at a kiosk nearby. We got that and the Tie Fighter popcorn bucket. Lets just say that was the most expensive popcorn and drink ever...

I also stopped in the Starbucks to get the we are here mug and took a photo of the star wars cupcakes. I almost got that Darth Vader one.

Crowds were starting to come in for the fireworks. I also overheard people saying TSMM was a walk on. I didn't risk it, thinking we wouldn't get a good spot for the fireworks.

On the stage towards the Chinese theater they had a dance party going on which Sydnee wanted to join in on. She had so much fun and got a good 15 minutes with Dale.

And soon enough it was time for a Symphony in the Stars!

Our last night at Disney...

Continued from previous post...

And that was it! Wow I absolutely loved them and so did everyone else. DHS knows how to do fireworks and I can't wait to see the new show that starts in June. I would also like to mention all of the photos above were taken with my iPhone 6+ because I left my DSLR back at the room. We met up with my Grandma and Judy who watched from the corner of Hollywood and Sunset while we watched from the hub area near the Chinese theater. We then headed out and to the boat back to BC. Once we got back we ordered a couple things from the marketplace as we had a few QS credits to use up. Overall it was a fantastic finish to a fantastic Disney day.

Up next: We get some Disney on our departure day

I've been too busy to read for a few weeks but just got caught up. Looks like a great last (full) day with lots accomplished! I am excited to see the SW fireworks, such epic music to set explosions to! And I will admit I am not a huge daytime parade fan, but the new Festival of Fantasy is a big improvement over the previous one, well worth it just for the Malificent dragon.

Glad you got caught up. The symphony in the Stars fireworks were very good so I can imagine the new ones will be even better. I agree about the parade maificent is my favorite float.

Oh and I did want to mention - no surprise that your Grandma and Aunt didn't like Space Mountain. I loved the ride, but I think equilibrium of the human body reaches a point where it struggles with rides in the dark. Space Mountain bothers me a little more each year to the point where I can only ride it once and that's it - and I am "only" 46. (California's Space Mountain more-so, though that ride is sooo much better.) The rest of the coasters in Orlando don't bother me, though I admit it's been a while since I rode anything more than twice in a row.

Yeah I'm glad I got to ride it with them at least once even if they don't ever ride it again.

Jim and I loved the Star Wars Fireworks! Blasphemy I know, but I felt they were almost better than Wishes. I can't wait to see the new show in December. Awesome photos by the way. I would have never guessed they were taken with an I-phone.

Thanks!

They were great! I think I'd agree that they were better than wishes but that's hard to do. I figured I'd give it a try to only use my iPhone and it worked out well.

Has that EVER happened in the history of TSMM since it's been open??? I doubt it lol. I get not wanting to lose your spot...but that would have been a tough call!!

Actually it did happen when they opened the third track yesterday at TSMM. The ride was a walk on around 10:30AM but it then went up to an hour a couple hours later.
