Nope that's not it. Like I said I didn't say the words so you'll just have to wait and find out who did.

Haha, having had that experience I know what you mean. Try riding it when you're 6'6", it's scary lights on or off.

I'm short so I can't feel what that is like lol.

We actually never ate at the Marketplace even though we were there 6 nights. The selection was poor, and the seating was terrible. There were like 4 tables out in the hall, the rest were out in the courtyard behind, and in the summer in was so uncomfortable we didn't want to eat there. Combine that with the short walk to Epcot and we would just eat there.

The resort looked so pretty with the Christmas decorations. They really add an elegance that I didn't really see without it. (we have seen the Christmas decorations at the Beach Club many years ago - but we weren't staying there.)

Yes I thought the selection was poor we really only ate there that night because it was quick and we were hungry. The seating was also weird but I guess I don't know what else they could do.

Yes I loved the Christmas decor and you definitely noticed a different when they were gone later in the week.

Caught up. Great report! The remodel of the BC/YC rooms is simply remarkable.

Glad to hear the CM took care of you cuss after the mix up.

Yes I loved the decor. Last year when we arrived for marathon weekend everything was down so it was nice getting to see it for a few days.

If I had to pick one negative about the BC/YC resorts it would be the lack of a full quick service. We've ate at the Marketplace and while it was fine it was nothing remarkable and definitely limited in selection.

First night exploring sounds like a great evening! Loved all the gingerbread holiday items. We had breakfast at Cape May so we did see the carrousel but didn't make it over to the YC this trip.

It wasn't that big of deal seeing how it worked out. We didn't complain much either just wondered why we didn't have club level anymore so the great CM found out and helped us. He was very nice and that's the kind of service you don't hear about too much these days.

Were already running behind my itinerary and every volunteer does something different!

Before I get started with this update I am going to show a photo of my excel spreadsheet Itinerary. I make one for each trip but I don't always stick 100% to them.



My plan was to get up and be on a bus to the expo by 9:30. Well sleep got the best of us and we didn't get up until around 9:10. So with the slight delay we were on the bus by 10 AM instead. If you have never done a runDisney race and experienced the expo its held at the ESPN WWoS and is kind of like a frenzy of all things running related. You have a place to pick up your bib and stuff, then a place to pick up your shirts, and then multiple places to buy runDisney merchandise, and other vendors merchandise.

We got there and I headed straight for my half bib pick up. That pick up was held in the HP field house. They changed things around this year and had the 5K pick up outside near the stadium so we would have to go there after. My sisters and I went ahead and my grandma and Judy just looked around until we were done. I got my half bib no problem.



After that we headed for the 5K and Kids races bibs which is where the problems occurred. Before I get into it I know that these people are volunteer but some of them could've used some assistance or maybe have been a little nicer.

My sister and I stood in line for the 5K bibs. We got up to the front and I handed the lady my waiver and my ID which got me my half bib and which got me my 10K bib last year. I of course did not sign my waiver and my mother did who is in Wisconsin at this point. The lady refused to give me my bib without her there. I said well my grandma is here, she then told me to get out of line and get her and come back. I remind you I didn't have to do this for my half bib or my 10K last year. So we get out of line and find my grandma and come back. We decide to get my sister Sydnee's Mickey Mile bib first. This was another ordeal. We stand in line... and stand in line... and stand in line. After about 30 minutes of standing in this line for the Mickey Mile bib we finally got to the front. The volunteer was very nice but unfortunately was very very slow. The guy in line behind us was running dopey and said he could've been through the dopey line three times by now. After we got Sydnee's things we headed back over to the 5K line. Got to the front, my sister was in the line right next to me and by that time had a different volunteer working but my line still had the same lady. My sister got her bib no problem now. My Grandma then came over by me and had to cross out my moms signature and then write hers down. Like I understand liability and everything but really? Why didn't every other volunteer do this?





After that craziness we headed to the Jostens center to pick up my half shirt and shop!

I headed for my shirt and then the merchandise area. My grandma and everyone else headed for the New Balance runDisney shoe area. I got my shirt and then went shopping. I had quite the haul this trip. I picked up a Half Marathon Jacket, runDisney 2016 Vinylmation, the 5k and half medal pins as well as two other pins, a 5K and Half magnet, and an I did it shirt for the Half. Lets just say I used up my Disney gift cards and then some. While I was in line checking out I got a call saying my grandma got everything we wanted at the New Balance booth no problem which really surprised me. She bought six shoes total! I got the Dumbo shoes and my sisters, my mom and my mom's friend got the Ariel shoes. They came over by me after and my sisters picked out some pins. We checked out and were on our way out. Before we left we stopped for some pictures.











We walked towards the buses and I looked on Facebook and saw that my cousin (She's like my second or third cousin) who was running Dopey for the third year in a row was just there and said she was sitting on the Yacht and Beach Club bus! I was like awesome maybe we'll meet you on the bus! Unfortunately just as we were getting to bus stop it was pulling away and she was sitting in the front seat. We saw each other and waved but we didn't get to meet up at all that week. Anyways we headed back for the Beach Club to drop off our major haul of goods and luckily we made up some time and were nearly back on schedule!



We were heading to DHS for the afternoon and evening then to Epcot for dinner.

Yeah she was a trooper and didn't really complain about anything. Sydnee is definitely the one who brightens our day.

I really enjoy the running expo and I don't even consider myself a hard core runner yet.

Yeah I never had any other problems last year or with my half this year but for some reason the lady at the 5K wasn't budging. At least we got it worked out in the end.

I know we ended up being in a different park each day and it's hard to meet up in a sea of people during the races.

That was good picture. I really enjoyed the Christmas decor.

Great description of the expo! It's too bad that the volunteers didn't have all the information that they need and you had to go through that line twice So impressive that your grandmother managed to get everyone's shoes easily!
