Can't wait to see how the rest of trip went! Great job on the 5k!
Thanks! I should have another update in the next day or two its been a busy week. Can't wait to see how the rest of trip went! Great job on the 5k!
Don't blame you for wanting to get right into the Kingdom for an early start!
I can imagine - "C'mon I've been awake for 5 hours! let's go!"
I'm just catching up and joining in. Looks like you had a wonderful trip. I have fond memories of running around DL with my siblings--so it's great to see you and your sisters enjoying WDW! So nice that all three of you could participate in runDisney! It's also cool that you get to enjoy it with your Grandma! Such a great trip! I know you enjoyed it.
Great move on heading out to MK and meeting up. That's a great strategy when not everyone is ready at the same time! I'm enjoying all your photos!
Did you get early acceptance for college, or are you waiting until April for acceptances? Good luck, I know you will do well in college!
All caught up!!! I stopped getting alerts on my trip reports so I missed a lot here, but it was nice to get a large chunk all at once Love your pictures though!!! My favorites were the 5k selfies and the Osborne lights! I'm so sad I missed them!
Sounds like a great morning at MK! I really don't understand sleeping in at Disney ... but I guess it's a lot easier to sleep in if you haven't been up since the middle of the night...
I also like the new Poly lobby - I never saw the old one, but it's such a beautiful space and I love how open it is.
Sounds like you had a nice short morning at MK. I agree I like the Poly lobby, it's to bright and open. I'm interested to hear about the Mickey Mile.
Yeah when I am at Disney I stay up late and wake up early. So much to do and so little time..
I don't like taking naps. I don't mind a mid day break but it's not something I plan into every day. Everyone does what fits best for them. I'm sure my plans will change as I get older but for now I always am out and about. When we were young we did the same. Of course Pleasure Island was open at that point - and we weren't quite as young as you.
Once we started going with our daughter we wake up early but quit early. (She is not one for late nights - even at 12 years old.)
When we go on our own - we STILL get up early and stay up late....but we take a LOONNNGG nap in between!!! I think we were out until 2 AM for 3 nights in row in 2014 when we did our "no kids" trip.

For the most part they kept up with us pretty well. They did need some time to just take a break though once in a while. That's my point - you are young - don't need a break. Don't tell me your Grandma and Aunt were going dawn to dusk every day!
I set my alarm for 3:15 AM and just to be safe I set three alarms on my phone, an alarm on my fitbit and my sister set an alarm. I was making sure I got up for the race! I always have a weird feeling that one day I am not going to wake up to my alarm and miss the race. It just so happens I woke up on my own before my alarm even went off...
