HRH or RPR

Which resort would you chose we are 4 adults 4 children boys ages 11 and 9. I really thought we would go for RPR but have heard the pools are deep and theres no slide. Think the family we are going with would like HRH as would my husband the pool is shallower i believe. I know you can use any pool but how close to each other are they. Is HRH worth the extra bucks.

no matter which of the hotels you stay, you can pool hop to any of them.
that is one of the perks when staying at the darkside.

While pool hopping is allowed, we find we don't do it. So it's HRH for us because DD loves her a pool slide. They also had fun games by the pool, movies by the pool, etc. We just find HRH fun as well and I like the compactness of the resort and quick boat ride or walk to the parks.

I think the boys would prefer HRH over RPR. The water area is more kiddie oriented at RPR.
