How much is your 2024 vacation going to cost you?

7 nights BWV- rented points: $3800
5 day standard tickets via undercover tourist: $2800
airfare: $2800 (yay spring break!!)
food/souvenirs: ~$2000 -- doing savii's x 3 ; may need more if we do character dining
genie + at roughly 35$/day x 4 people = $700
Transporation MCO to/from boardwalk: ~200$

~13,000 $ for family of 4, 7 nights during spring break 2024
Just got back… spot on. Spread the payments out throughout the year but came to about 13400

Going to WrestleMania in Philadelphia in a few weeks. Solo trip. Two night combo ticket for Mania itself, ticket to NXT show Saturday morning, two nights at Live Casino & Hotel next door to sports complex and a night at a Holiday Inn outside of town the night before. $3,860.

I’m hoping to cover food, gas and tolls from gambling. Of course, gambling could also double the cost of the weekend. :)
Are you going to both nights?

$8,769 (this is just our package)

BC Deluxe Room
3 adults (2 adults, 1 young adult)
3 children (2 teens, 1 elementary student)
7 day tickets/one park a day
Memory Maker

We will drive 12 hours from Virginia and stay off property with family in Orlando the night before check-in. We then check-in, leave luggage and head in for a day at the park.

6 nights at pop preferred- 4 park days. Standard dining plan 2 adults 1 child
Right around $4000

$800 flights

So about $5000 total. My husband thinks I got a good deal. Disney is so expensive 😭

2024 Budget DisneyWorld Trip: 2 Adults; (me & my wife from 4/26-4/30)
  • Round Trip Flights on SouthWest ($500 Round Trip total for the 2 of us)... Priced at $550 total, but bought a $500 gift card from Costco for $450 and paid the remaining $50 with a credit card
  • Disney Park Tickets - $943 for our 4-Park Magic Tickets from UnderCoverTourist.Com
  • Hotel - $734, staying at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs Resort for 4 nights (I will get an additional $45 back from booking from a portal [topcashback.com portal to a Priceline booking] but I am not including that in the final math)
Total cost so far: $2,176.88

I will update for the price of transport from the airport, any Ubers taken and I will try to list out expenses for food/merchandise after we complete our trip. We will probably have a mix of table service and quick service meals and some meals from disney springs (I am really hoping to get lucky and snag either a reservation or try and walk up and get the chance to experience SPACE 220 for the first time). I am not sure if we will do Disney Genie or not, but If we do not get a Boarding Group for Tron or Guardians then I could see myself purchasing a lightning lane for those.

Our Trip is in 44 days and it will have been 3 years since we were last at Disney so we are getting very excited :)
1st of all, wanted to say that we had an absolute BLAST!!!

Cost Update:
Summary of Previously Detailed Expenses:
Flight - $500
Hotel - $734
Park Tickets For 2 Adults - $986 (So we switched up our plans and did a 3-Park Magic Ticket ($631), Plus an After Hours Ticket for Magic Kingdom $(355))

New Expenses not Previously Detailed:
Uber Cost - $155 (Roundtrip from airport, and several other uses to Parks and to outlet mall)
Dining & Merchandise - $705 (Space 220, Be Our Guest, Yatchsman Steakhouse, other)
Disney Genie+ - $84 (We did Hollywood Studios & Epcot, the latter being our last day where we chose not to rope drop and only had a partial day due to needing to catch our return flight).

Total Cost = $3,165

I may want to create a separate post with some of my trip details but here are some high level highlights

Rope Droping Hollywood Studios was a giant Success!!
Be Our Guest - Continues to be our Favorite Meal :)
Disney After Hours Event - Definitely Worth it
Tron Lightcycle Run - Ask for Front Row
Experience Redemption Lightning Lane for the WIN (Got to ride Guardians 2X)

I'm not an experience blogger/writer but i would love to tell our story if people want to hear more
