HOW MUCH IS YOUR 2017 DISNEY VACATION GOING TO COST

August 12-19
2 adults & 2 kids (8 & 5)
Wilderness Lodge SV
PH
FD (booked on a bounce back)
MM

$4613 or $144.16 a day.

It makes me feel good to see everyone is right in line with me.

2 adults, 2 free kids

6 nights BLT: $1800
Food estimate: $1200
Souvenirs: $100 - we're local with APs so I don't anticipate wanting much as we buy as we see throughout the year
APs: paid for in day trips by the time we go on our big trip in May but ~$1000 if we count
Extras: pony rides, spa, etc: $500

$4600 - I anticipate more like $5000 as there's always extras.

I guess with pp/day calcs I'm over the average here if I consider only 2 adults but oh well! :)

Well we are doing universal, but, I really screwed up and booked my hotel at a way more expensive price and missed out on free dining to boot, I can't get over how stupid I was, non refundable. Haste makes waste. Around 5 to 6,000 for 6 nights that includes discovery cove dolphin swims also.

Well in looking at all the responses it looks like I am paying too much!! I will have to do some more digging and find out why that is and see if I can find some better pricing!!

When are you going? Is it a busy time or so far out that discounts haven't been released? It does seem pricey for a mod. It looks like you are paying the same price per night as I am and I'm staying deluxe but am renting DVC so sounds lIke you're going in a buser season than I am.

Looks like POR during my dates would be $1118, which are low season, if that gives you an idea. We're paying $500 more for 6 nights to go deluxe.

April 24th - 29th (5 nights, 6 days)
2 adults & 1 child (5yo)
AoA Little Mermaid Standard Room
4 day Park Hoppers with Memory Maker
DDP
$3,117.77 ($173.21 per day, per person)

Our trip is for this December, but close enough.
3 adults, 2 kids (6,9)
7 nights at CBR
7 day park hoppers
DDP
$4023 or $115 per person, per day

I think we got an excellent deal.

Got to chime in here: 2 adults at POR in February, 2017 for 9 days, 10 nights in garden view.
Initial cost with 9 day park hoppers was $3284.44. However, got a discount and remaining is now $2944. So, I think it was a good deal:-)
Air fare with Delta with close to $1000.00.
We are not on the dining plan, so meals will be under 1000, probably 800 dollar range or less. We went without dining plan last year and saved money.
Will probably spend 400 to 500 on souveniers.
Total without airfare: $4500, appx.
Wow, that sounds like a lot more since I took the time to write it all down. But it is definitely worth it.
We also have an overnight stay for one night at Universal, RPR, but won't count that in Disney's cost.

Yes we are going at a busy time the last week of March. My wife is a teacher so we are restricted to her Spring break. I certainly will be looking for any discounts that may come along in hopes of reducing my final bill!!

I'll take a stab at it -

2 adults October, 2017
7 nights Boardwalk Villas studio $1712 (preferred view, DVC point rental)
7 day park hoppers $759.28 (bought on special in July - buy 4 days get 3 free)
Food? going to F&W a lot, guessing $1200
Total about $3700

10 nights at POR October next year (includes 14 day park hopper, DDP and MM) UK deal for two adults

$3229 or £2600

Add on an extra $1200 (£1000) flight tickets!

I'll play! I'm a nerd and like seeing other people's numbers :thumbsup2 We have two trips planned in 2017 (currently lol)

2 Adults, Jan 2017
4 nights at Pop = $459; but all but a few dollars are covered by credit card rewards
APs, proportional cost = $676
Flights = $323; but $144 is covered by credit card points
Credit Card annual fees (split between two trips) = $225
Food = $580 estimate; 4 table service planned
Misc = $100

Total = $2139 actual Disney trip cost, but considering credit card rewards and fees = $1586

2 Adults, Sept 2017
5 nights at Dolphin = $141; after credit card points
6 nights DVC Rental BWV = $1008
APs, proportional cost = $920
Flights = $22; after credit card points
Credit Card annual fees (split between two trips) = $225
Food = $1800 estimate; could go up because this is a wedding/honeymoon trip and we're splurging a bit
Misc = Haven't calculated yet

Total so far = $3869 actual Disney trip cost minus flights, adding credit card fees brings it to $4094
This trip has an additional $1600 budgeted for 2 days at US, 3 nights at a hotel near US, food, and a hotel near Port Canaveral before short cruise (wedding gift from in-laws).

I'm working on getting some discounted Disney gift cards via surveys to get the food/misc categories down. We have a bit more in credit card rewards we can use, and Christmas cash will probably be saved for souvenirs in January.

Can I post my hopeful trip for August 21-27? Family of 8 (Me, DH with daughters aged 16, 8 and 4 and sons aged 14, 6 and 2.)
FW Premium site with rental RV: 1900.00
5 day tickets non hoppers: 2500
Flights: 2200
Food and Souvenirs: 1000.00
This trip will be about half of what we just spent in October! We were planning on returning in 2018 but I'm hoping to surprise the kiddos with this trip in August and then still plan for our 2018 trip back to WBC.

2 adult /3 kids - 8 days

7 nights at CBR - $1681
5 - 6 day Park Hoppers - $1802
food estimate (using the dining calculator) - $2100

total - $5583
$140/person/day
(squeezing 5 in a room really keeps that # down)

And flight is an additional $490
