    Hi,

I just made my Tiffany Towncar reservations for Friday and I've never done anything like this before. On $45 each way trip, how much do you tip each driver usually.

We usually tip $10 each way. We used Tiffany several times and the service has always been good.

We tip at least $10 each way. If the driver is really good we'll give him/her $15. Last trip the driver that picked us up at the airport was great. Put all our luggage in the car, very friendly, giving us different tips, unloaded all our luggage, etc., we gave him $15. The driver from the resort to the airport watched as the valet loaded the car, he had to stop for gas on the way to the airport (he did ask us if it was ok & since we did have plenty of time we said yes, but thought he really should have done this before he picked us up), and we helped take half the bags out of the car. Him we only gave $10.

I have used Tiffany a few times, but not within the last year. I now note that they have the following information posted on their web site: "Our rates do not include driver gratuity (Min. 20%). Please take care of the gratuity each way because you might have a different driven on your return." Can't figure out from that statement if they now automatically add the gratuity. I personally feel that 15% is an adequate tip. If we opt for a grocery stop, we often will divide the fare in half, and then add a 20% gratuity for our first leg but 15% for our second (since there is no stop and it takes less time for the driver).
