How Many Times Did I Meet Pluto This Trip? A Dec Solo TR - New TR Link 11/30!

Naptime in preschool, so I caught up on your TR. The music playing here was "When You Wish Upon a Star"...perfect for flipping through your fireworks pics. Soooo magical :wizard:

I love how happy you are with Pluto!! That is TRUE joy :goodvibes

Your next chapter title get me thinking we'll see Baymax soon :) I sure hope so!! My son and I just LOVE how Baymax does a fistbump. Ba la la la la.

Great interaction and pictures with Pluto!

Did they walk, not run, the crowd for the TSM Dash? When I did it, the cast member was most insistent that we all walk and there were times when she stopped the crowd from going forward. I did fear that she was going to be mobbed after she stopped us a second time!

I missed catching your firework pictures. Great job on those. :thumbsup2

ADORABLE PP pictures!!! and a great MEET!!!!! YAHOO!!!

Ba LA LA LA BAYMAX!!!! Can't wait to see it!

That was a lot of people but, like you said, it was still the holiday weekend. 10 minutes is not bad for TSM at all.

I'm glad you were able to get pulled to a separate line to get your credentials for the dessert party.

What awesome photos with Pluto. :goodvibes He definitely wanted your bag.

The TSMM dash is insane they also have a frozen one at the MK for their meet and greet. I can't wait to hear what you thought about the frozen dessert party I heard mixed reviews on it.

The TSM dash wasn't too bad on this trip. Most people were just walking quickly there. We saw some of the craziness of the Frozen dash in May but we turned right before the castle and got in line for Merida instead.

It's always nice having good conversation to pass the time!

It was very nice to chat with them.

LOVE your pics with Pluto!! Looks like awesome interaction.

It was. I had some great interactions with Pluto this trip!

I spent a lot of time yesterday getting caught up on my subscribed threads but somehow missed out on your's. That's okay though 'cause I'm caught up now. I love how the parks and even some attractions are all done up for the holiday. The Jingle Cruise looks especially cute.

I so love all of the Christmas decorations. Disney really knows how to do it right.

It's too bad that Tony's wasn't all that great. We have stayed away from it because of all the so-so reviews. At least you can now say that you've tried it yourself.

Yeah, it definitely wasn't the best. I mean the food was edible but when I compared it to the other Italian offerings at WDW, it fell pretty far short. The restaurant itself was cute but not really worth it in my opinion.

We've seen the fireworks from Fantasyland before and it really does give you a different perspective. Nice firework pictures!

I was pretty happy with how those photos turned out. It's definitely a different experience back there.

YAY for Canada!! Obviously we make fantastic temporary friends. :thumbsup2

Definitely, they were a very nice couple!

Well done on the TSM dash. And OMG that photo of Mr Potato Head :rotfl2:. Clearly not a morning person.

I don't know what I did to make him mad that morning but he sure wasn't happy with me. :confused3 :rotfl2:

What a great meet with your main pooch. One down, three to go.

Or maybe more? It is the title of my TR after all.

Naptime in preschool, so I caught up on your TR. The music playing here was "When You Wish Upon a Star"...perfect for flipping through your fireworks pics. Soooo magical :wizard:

Glad you had some time to catch up! I think anything is more magical at Disney but they definitely know how to do fireworks.

I love how happy you are with Pluto!! That is TRUE joy :goodvibes

I can't help myself, I just turn back into a little kid any time I see him.

Your next chapter title get me thinking we'll see Baymax soon :) I sure hope so!! My son and I just LOVE how Baymax does a fistbump. Ba la la la la.

It was definitely my goal to meet them this trip but you'll see what really did happen here in a minute.

Great interaction and pictures with Pluto!

I had some wonderful meets with him this trip!

Did they walk, not run, the crowd for the TSM Dash? When I did it, the cast member was most insistent that we all walk and there were times when she stopped the crowd from going forward. I did fear that she was going to be mobbed after she stopped us a second time!

I wasn't near the front so I didn't see if there was a CM walking everyone. But most people were sensible on this day and I didn't see anyone flat out running. Just a lot of speed walking that day.

I missed catching your firework pictures. Great job on those. :thumbsup2

I think they turned out pretty good considering I only have a point and shoot.

ADORABLE PP pictures!!! and a great MEET!!!!! YAHOO!!!

Yep, Pluto was awesome this trip, I had quite a few great meets with him.

Ba LA LA LA BAYMAX!!!! Can't wait to see it!

Coming right up!

That was a lot of people but, like you said, it was still the holiday weekend. 10 minutes is not bad for TSM at all.

It was crowded that day but I was able to get everything I wanted done despite the crowds. Well all but one thing as you'll see in the next update. But I don't think that was necessarily crowd related, just something new that was very popular.

I'm glad you were able to get pulled to a separate line to get your credentials for the dessert party.

Me too, I didn't want to miss out on Pluto's next meet but I needed to get my stuff for the party.

What awesome photos with Pluto. :goodvibes He definitely wanted your bag.

Yep, he tried to keep it but I wouldn't let him! I had some awesome meets with him this trip.

I wanted to use my TOT FP right at the start because I also wanted to try and meet Baymax and Hiro (hence the title of this installment for anyone who hasn’t seen the movie). My TOT FP was for 10 am – 11 am and the Big Hero 6 guys came out at 10:30. Despite all I had done already that morning, I was still a little early for my FP time so I browsed through some of the stores on my way to TOT.

Once I got there, I walked pretty much to the front of the line before stopping.

I will tell you now that I was not into doing anything special for the ride photos this trip. I think I was just tired of coming up with new ideas so I skipped the silly faces and stuff for the whole trip. Sorry for the boring ride photos! At least on this one, there are a couple of people that were making an effort.

And I got a ride video this time! Just click on the small photo below to see it.

I actually finished up with my ride and managed to make it to the Animation Building by 10:15. That was when I discovered that the line for Baymax and Hiro was already 90 minutes. A cast member there said that people started lining up as soon as the park opened. Well, I liked the movie but not that much! So instead I headed up and got in line for the 10:30 animation class.

Of course we had one person in the class that had already drawn every character imaginable so the instructor gave us the choice between Eeyore, Mickey and Pluto. I got excited for a minute but everyone but me voted for Mickey. Even though I really wanted to draw Pluto I still enjoyed drawing Mickey and I think it turned out pretty good.

After the class, I went back down to sneak a peek at Hiro and Baymax. They were in the old spot where Wreck it Ralph used to be but they had completely re-themed it.

I was able to take a couple of creeper photos in-between greets.

It was now time for my last FP for the day which of course was for TSM. It started at 11:05 but I was able to use it at 11:00 exactly with the five minute grace period. Once again I was put through the little blue gate and got to the front quickly. Much better score this time and my highest all time.

Not only was I best in vehicle, I was best for the hour! Although considering it was only about 11:05 at that moment, not really all that impressive.

I hadn’t seen the Beauty and the Beast show since 2010 so that was my next destination. I said hi to Baymax again as I walked along.

I was really hungry at that point but my lunch ADR wasn’t until 12:50 pm so I stopped for a quick snack. That’s when I saw they had Baymax popcorn containers. I’m not really a popcorn fan so I got a pretzel instead.

I ended up pretty far back in the theater. I would have gotten a FP for this one but of course its tier 1 and TSM is going to win that battle every time. I didn’t take a lot of pictures because they weren’t coming out too well but here’s what I did get.

I think at that point I got caught up in the show and stopped trying to get photos.

After the show I slowly made my way towards my lunch ADR which was Sci Fi Dine In Theater. I was a little bit early so I sat on a wall for a while and relaxed and then checked in about 10 minutes ahead of time. When I had eaten here with family in February, we had had an awesome waiter named Tony. I asked if he was working that day and he was but it would have been a 40 minute wait to sit in his section. I decided not to wait.

I was seated very quickly and was in the very back of the theater. Not sure why but the only picture other than my food that I took was this one.

I was trying to get a picture of the “Cat Who Hated Humans” since that is my favorite section of the movie clips they show. It looks like I missed him by a bit there. I ordered the same thing I got in February, a burger and fries.

This was excellent once again and despite just eating that huge pretzel less than an hour before I ate every bite of my lunch. Right as I was finishing up, a couple was seated in the car next to me. I looked over and it turned out to be my Canadian friends from the bus that morning! We said hi and laughed at running into each other again.

Up Next: Cowboy!!

90 minute wait for the Big Hero 6 characters, YIKES! I still have to see that movie!

I like your Mickey drawing! Sorry it wasn't Pluto though.

So bizzare that the BATB show is a Tier 1 FP. Of course TSM is going to win that battle!

Glad you had a good lunch, so funny running into those same people!

It gets hard being creative on those ride photos. It's a good group photo though.

I have yet to see Baymax and really doubt we will until it's available On Demand at home.

That's a great drawing of Mickey Mouse. Excellent job, Ariana. :thumbsup2

Nice score on TSM.

I love those pretzels.

And Sci Fi is always a fun place to have lunch.

Oh, rats! An almost meet with Hiro and Baymax :confused3 It's just like us in November 2013 thinking we'll just waltz right in to meet Anna and Elsa, and then finding out it was a 4 hour wait!! :sad2: I just want to give him a big huggy squeeze :) Was that allowed? I'm so curious!!

I think the Tower of Terror video clip is kind of cool--I wish they included a little more footage of your actual fall, but still SO cool! :thumbsup2

What a long wait time for Hiro and Baymax!

What a coincidence to run into your one-day Canadian friends. Do you still keep in contact?

Oh No! Sorry you didn't meet Baymax!!! He looks really huggable! they did a great job as he really look like Hiro!!!
Need a picture of the battle bot on the table! Ok Enough on Baymax.. I didn't think i would like the movie.. It surprised me i do like it a whole bunch!

I have never stopped for the Beauty and the beast show. I heard a rumor it was going to close?!?!
I don't like the way they did the tiers I hope Disney doesn't ever do that with MK..

ToT our favorite!!!

Oh and SciFi!!! another favorite! HS :cloud9: such a great great park!!!

What a wait for Hiro and Baymax. They are supposedly getting rid of them soon because the Baymax costume is problematic. I still haven't seen the movie. I love Sci-Fi dine in. I don't know if I've ever seen the beauty and beast show I'll have to make sure I get there on my next trip whenever it is.

They were quite popular. And the movie was awesome, you should definitely see it!

I will get to draw Pluto someday. Actually my brother & SIL got me a Disney drawing book for Christmas but I've been a bit scared to try it by myself. I need to get it out because it has Pluto in it.

I guess they really don't have much else to put in tier 1. I mean the Great Movie Ride doesn't really belong their either.

I couldn't believe I ran into them again!

It gets hard being creative on those ride photos. It's a good group photo though.

I just flat ran out of ideas for the ride photos this time.

I was really surprised at how much I liked Big Hero 6. I'm not into super hero movies but really enjoyed this one.

I was definitely happy with how Mickey turned out. I think I got his ears a smidgen too small but other than that was very pleased.

I guess I was basing it on my experience with the Wreck it Ralph characters. We got to the meet around 10:15 and was third or fourth in line. Of course that was in May 2014 when Wreck it Ralph had been out for two years.

The video is really cool. I love that people have already figured it out and are doing stuff for it. Did you see the one family waving at the camera?

What a long wait time for Hiro and Baymax!

What a coincidence to run into your one-day Canadian friends. Do you still keep in contact?

It was a long wait time, I was quite surprised. I guess the movie was more popular than I thought it was.

No, we didn't even exchange names, just chatted for a while that morning. I did see them at a distance the next day at AK but didn't want to come across as a creepy stalker so I didn't approach them.

Oh No! Sorry you didn't meet Baymax!!! He looks really huggable! they did a great job as he really look like Hiro!!!

I do wish I was able to meet them but I was really not wasting an hour and a half for it. I was the same with the movie, wasn't sure I would like it but came away loving it.

I've heard rumors about every show at HS closing! I don't know what's going on for sure with that show but you should try to catch it sometime, it's very good.

I don't know if I've ever seen the beauty and beast show I'll have to make sure I get there on my next trip whenever it is.

I heard they were going to stop the meets too and replace them with characters from Inside Out. Of course there are always rumors! The movie was awesome, you should definitely see it.

Cowboy!! Part 1

This will be the last update for a least a week as Jim and I are headed to Universal, Sea World and Legoland on Thursday. On with the update................

I didn’t have anything really planned for after lunch except for wanting to make Character Paloosa at 3:35 pm so I decided to check on the wait time for the Great Movie Ride. The wait time had been 40 minutes before lunch but now it was only 10 so I headed in. Photos from the line.

I got to the front pretty quickly and that was when I realized they were running two cars and I was being sent to the front car. I haven’t gotten the Cowboy scene since 2010 so I was pretty excited. I know you can ask but I never have. I don’t know, it kind of feels like cheating to me for some reason. But I was pretty sure that if they were running two cars, the front one would get the Cowboy scene.

This is another ride that I can’t help myself and end up taking a ton of photos.

I practically held my breath all the way through the gangster area and sure enough, we kept going right through and into the cowboy section.

There goes our guide to help stop the bank robbery.

Cowboy!! Part 2

Continued From Previous Post

That was just so cool to finally see again! Moving on with some more pictures.

I found a Hidden Mickey in the Wizard of Oz section.

After my trip through the movies, I still had a little time to kill so I decided to go see the Little Mermaid. When I entered the line it was about 2:30 and the CM said I would be seeing the 3 pm show. I figured that would be perfect timing to make it to the 3:35 Character Paloosa. But when I got to the front of the line, the CM called me straight into the next show. I was seated at the very end but I could still see everything just fine. Here’s my view.

I tried to take a few more photos after that but they weren’t coming out and my camera screen seemed really bright in the dark theater. So I just put my camera away and enjoyed the rest of the show.

Up Next: Character Paloosa #1

Have a great trip!!

Congrats on getting the Cowboy scene!! And nice getting pulled right in for the LM show. I too find it difficult to get pics of that show.

I also feel like it's cheating to ask for the cowboy scene!!! When we went in 2013, my four year old fell in love with the Great Movie Ride; we waited almost no time to go on one day. Immediately after exiting, we were checking out some hand prints and he was talking about wanting to go on again--the line had grown SO long though. A cast member came over and asked him if he'd like to ride again WITHOUT waiting--he escorted us through a backdoor and through the room of lines with the movie screen, while yelling "VIP FAMILY COMING THROUGH!!" We got to go on again and the second ride was awesome because we got the cowboy scene :) Such a magical moment!

I love all the pics you took--mine never seem to come out focused very well because of the dim light and moving tram. Keep up the awesome work! :)

I don't think I've ever seen the Cowboy scene! I need to plan a trip back!!! ;)

YAY on the cowboy! So happy for you!!! Nice pictures as always!

I am so excited for you and your vacation coming up!!! I really can't wait to hear how you loved everything!!!

I'm glad you got to see the Cowboy scene. We've had it once or twice over the last couple of years...always a nice change of pace.

Great pictures on the Movie Ride.

And glad you got to see Mermaid.

You will have to tell me where this Character Paloosa is as we've never done it. And is it at different times or just one time?
