How many add-ons?

We started out with 170 BWV points. When I heard BW was selling out(a year after we bought maybe??) I mentioned it to DH, and he said oh yeah? Then later came back and said we need to add on 30 points so we have an even 200. I love him! LOL
Then in Sept 2001, I had my son-Yay!..but was sad we were missing our annual fall trip, so to cheer me up, I told DH we needed to buy HH points-50(I had never been but figured it would be fun), he said yeah right, but later that day said..Call DVC, but what good is 50, get 100.
Then last year I was thinking that we really needed more BWV points, but I really only wanted 25-30 more, so I posted a question on the AOL DVC boards asking about waiting lists for points, and a friend of mine read it emailed me and told me she was selling all her BWV points to buy BCV, and she had a 25 point add on she'd be more then happy to see me as a resale. Yay!
Soo, we have 225 BWV and 100 HH, and always bank(BW anyway) so we have no need for more, unless DH gets more vacation time..and a bigger salary! LOL

We bought 170 points initially and ended up adding another 130 shortly afterwards. Decided we needed another 50 and BWV was sold out so we bought VWL. I kind of wish all of our points were in one place, anyone wanna swap 50 BWV points for 50 VWL?

Maistre Gracey, you still can add on 990 more times before you break DVC's numbering system!

We added on once, giving us a total of 225 points, if I could sell my Vistana I would probably add on again, but we just bought DD a horse and are boarding him at a barn that is just sucking us dry when it comes to funds!!! Stupid us got her a show horse, so now she is pushing to show!! Chaching, Chaching!!!But after see the SAB pictures, that changes my thought of BWV!!!

You're safe for a while longer. The only other expense I have found more effective than the DVC addonitis bug at vacuuming your wallet dry is about to arrive, well in about 5 weeks. Dont expect to add on again until later next year, after our diaper expense tapers.
But then watch out, once our newest addition is out of diapers, I'm going to take all of that money that I spent on diapers and send it to the DVC. Heck, that alone could put me at #1. LOL
So relax for now.......but I'm gunning for ya!!!

It would be interesting to see how this question breaks down by where you live. I suspect that East coasters add on a lot more than places that are further from WDW.
