How Do I Find Out if My Waitlist Came Through?

I am currently going to Saratoga Springs 1-BR in October for F&W for my 40th Birthday. I am waitlisted for BWV.

How do I know if the wait list comes through?

Just keep checking the member website, or call MS a couple of times a day.
Those are the only options you have.

It should replace your present reservation. I always clarify with the CM when I do a WL that it will replace the current one just to be on the safe side.

Yes normally they just replace the current one in the same time slot. If there are extra points needed, they just take them too. Since you are WL for BWV in October during food and wine, hopfully you WL for a preferred view, which has the most availability. One bedrooms are often more available than the other rooms. Getting a WL at BWV or BCV during F&W is probably one of the hardest reservations to get (even harder if you are going when F&W begins or over the Colombus Day weekend). Good luck.
