Actually the Disney property restaurants have outstanding scores. Most score a '0' on the violations which is very rare for any restaurant. Even the ones with some violations, the number and severity are very low compared to restaurants at large. I was VERY pleased to see this.

I'll have to check it out then. There's nothing worse than seeing your favorite restaurant with something gross on the score. Happened a few times in town.:sad2:

Just glanced at a couple of places-Le Cellier & Raglan Road. Do I really want to know what a "critical violation" is? :guilty:

The State of Florida has two types of violations they cite restaurants for: 1. Technical (labeling, for example) and 2. Critical (some possibility of health issues if not corrected). If you will look at the type of violations and number of violations in Disney restaurants compared to non Disney restaurants, there is really no comparison. The Disney criticals are mostly things like the temps on the buffet serving lines and thing like that. The non Disney ones are things like vermin. :scared1: Big Difference! The average non Disney restaurant has 30-40 violations. Most Disney restaurants have zero with a few in the 3-5 range.

I use to work for Hannaford in NC. The state pays as a visit 2 + times a year. Not all points have anything to do with food. We lost a point once for having a light blown out in the freezer.

Out of all the restaurants that I checked, only one had been given a warning and that was Raglan Road. They had 9 critical and when revisited on 1=07 had 0 violations. Good going for Raglan Road. After reading some of the reasons why they got the critical and non critical reports makes you think twice about eating at any restaurant.:sad1:
