FOr those of you staying at the Swan pre and or post cruise, how are you getting back and forth to MCO?

DH does not want to rent a car. He would rather not drive on vacation because he drives so much for work.

Do you shuttle, town car, Taxi?

We are using a town car service.

Although we usually prefer not to rent a car, we are. We are flying in late on the 10th and previous experience has been that DME is slower at night because there are less people.
and with a car we can make a stop at a liquor store for our cruise alcohol.
and we'll need to get to the Poly on Saturday night - a car makes that so much easier.

So then we'll drive to the Swan on Sunday morning, and drop off the car there (National rental).

We'll try to find a place for our luggage because we're doing the "Fresh" breakfast. If we have to keep it with us - that's what we'll do!

I'm leaning to a town car through Florida tours, or whomever has a "relationship" with the disboards. I was curious about the limo costs (I'm definitely too cheap for that, however) and was surprised to see a grocery stop is included for a town car but not for a limo.

Dreams Transfers.

That is how we are getting to and from the Wonder too!

I guess the way to get to and from the airport is town car. Any one have a service that they like?

rental... 125.00 for the week. Gives us freedom :)

You can use a shuttle service from the Dolphin/Swan to and from MCO they use Mears and you can request/book it online at their website.

We are going to use a rental car
The transfers from MCO to the Swan costs us in total $40 and a rental car is the same.

When we arrive at MCO we pick up the car and then drop our suitcases of at the hotel and then we are going to do some shopping.
Emiel needs some snacks and fruit (he is a diabetic) and we need water and i need alcohol!!!! Then we are all set for the cruise.
The next day we drop the car of at the car rental at the Dolphin.

After the cruise we are going to pick up a car for another 2 weeks at the Dolphin car rental. and we return the car at MCO.

Renting a car the day before the cruise and using it to get from WWoHP to AK for the day, Boma for dinner and then onto the Boardwalk meet. Heading to the port that nite. Renting a car for a day to head from the port to the Swan too. Never used a rental car to get to a port for a cruise before so we'll see how this goes. :car:

cheers,
:flower3:
