I have a standard SUV rented with National from May 19-May 27 and my rate dropped again today. Used EWEB + Priceless Code + $20 off Sam's club coupon. It's down to $234.00 total with taxes & surchages for 8 days!

    Check your rates!

I'm holding 2 ressies with national and just cant decide which to cancel.

intermediate EA for 1 week $121
Full size EC for 1 week $133

I guess i should just accept the fact that EA is no longer worth the risk of an upgrade :worried: and go with my full size ressie.

I just CANT hit that darn cancel button!!!! I'ts not the money either (lousy 12 bucks) its the gamble........the excitement of what we could find on the EA. sigh.

    I need professional help.

curly i had the exact same rates for EA and Emerald Reserve. i chose the full size ER reservation. i also think the EA is not worth the risk anymore unfortunately.

at least we can still bypass the counter! that's the best part!

Hooray! My minivan went from $492.00 to $370.00!! That's $120.00 in my pocket:D We are renting June 30 - July 11 and used priceless code and quickrent feature to bypass the counter. I'm very happy now:bounce:

I did the same thing with EA versus full size ER. Wasn't worth the risk for a mere $15.

I'ts really too bad about the aisle and we don't rent enough to EVER get to Executive so it's "Reserve" for us!

I got a great rate - maybe it'll go lower - so I am happy!

Leigh123, The Sam's Club coupon was from last August and expires 8/31/04. I've noticed that all they offer now is double upgrades from compact to intermediate.
