I've seem some post boasting about how good the food is but most have very little details.

Anyone willing to share reviews or food porn?

Also, is the restaurant on any of the Dining Plans? Do they take ADRs?

Thanks

I would like to hear all about it also. We plan on eating there in August. Any picture would be great :)

We ate there twice while we were there. It was really good. They take ADRs. We walked up on New Years Eve for lunch with no wait. AP discount is available.
Homecoming-Side Plate with Macaroni, that we didn't like, biscuits, and amazing sweet potatoes

I ate there. I was only partially impressed. I had an experience more akin to Pete and Craig's then Kevin and John's.

The chicken and dumpling soup was amazing. But it was a huge portion. Like full-on meal size. And it was fantastic.

The fried chicken was meh, I've had better at Popeye's. The sides were also not that great.

But the real star was the desserts and the drinks. Some of the best on property.

I'll post my pictures once I can find them.. But I have to disagree with the PP, my husband and I thought the fried chicken was some of the best we'd ever had - I would never compare it to Popeyes lol it was moist and just so yummy... Maybe they had an off day there or something

Popeyes has good chicken particularly considering that it's a fast food place. I picture the food being similar to some of the better road-side cafes that we stopped at when I was a kid.

We had a great experience in December. It was one of our top two best meals of the trip, first being Yachtsman.

Three of us had the fried chicken and it was very, very good. My 13 year old had the fried catfish with mac and cheese...also very, very good.

As for cocktails, I had a Basil Smash and it was amazing. Strong and delicious. DH had the Muleshine, which is made with white lightning and peach puree. I liked it, but I liked mine better!

We had the fried green tomatoes as an app, and it was the weakest part of the meal, but still tasty.

We plan on returning!

Editing to add...the inside of the restaurant is beautiful, especially if you're into the upscale farmhouse "Fixer Upper" (the show on HGTV with Chip and Joanna Gaines) style. Rustic meets industrial...it's well done. The service was some of the best we've had on property. It is loud in there, but after my drink, I didn't notice as much, lol!!

We went this past October with 3 couples. Our friends had seen it on The Chew when they were filming for the F&W Festival. We went after lunch at Earl of Sandwich and only wanted the Hummingbird Cake. We did not have reservations but got seated right away on their outside enclosed patio (the place was not too busy). We got 2 slices of Hummingbird Cake and 1 slice of Pecan Pie plus coffee or tea for each person. Each couple split their dessert. I will say the Hummingbird Cake was just about the best cake I have ever had. At the time it came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle on the plate of raspberry sauce. MY BIL and SIL had the Pecan Pie and raved about it also.

We are heading back this spring and are planning on going there for a full meal. I highly recommend it.

I'm actually about to do write a review in my dining TR for Homecoming this weekend!

But I will say it was an amazing meal.

We got the deviled eggs which had a hint of sweetness to them, and they were very good they also came with some fried okra which I enjoyed.

My boyfriend had the Hamilton burger and mashed potatoes which he said was delicious, and I had the fried chicken, biscuit, and mashed potatoes. The fried chicken was the best I've ever had it was moist and juicy. The potatoes and biscuit were very good to. We'd absolutely go back.

WE had dinner there in December. It was among my favorite meals this trip, and we had fabulous food all week.

I enjoyed my Watermelon moonshine cocktails...I had two. The beverage was light and refreshing.

My friend and I split our meal because we wanted to be sure we had dessert. WE started with fried green tomatoes. I woudl have eaten that whole platter myself, and given up dessert. I never skip dessert, btu they were that good, Lightly fried and topped with a remoulade sauce that was delicious!

We split the fried chicken. Again, I was afraid I woudl nto have enough and almost ordered an extra piece. The order was plenty for two women, I am partial to the dark meat, mine was tender and well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were topped with a sausage gravy. Im taking my DSIL there just for that!

We ordered the chocolate pecan pie for dessert, but we were going back and forth between that and the moonshine cake. I liked it but looking back I wish we had chosen the cake. The pique was good, but I am a pecan pie purist....I prefer it without chocolate.

There was a family seated by us with a little one. SHe had a childrens meal and HOLY HUGE! I think it was fish, and it looked absolutely delicious.

We have an adr for dinner in mid April; I'll post back her after for anyone interested. It looks like a nice diversion. I like chicken and deviled eggs so all should be good.

We really enjoyed it. I can't remember which drinks we have had, since we have had more than a few on a couple of visits. However, they were all excellent. The Jaspar board, hushpuppies, and Shine cake are excellent. The deviled eggs are almost full size eggs completely stuffed; however, I thought they were kind of bland. I wouldn't get them again. I make deviled eggs all the time and use whole grain or dijon mustard and smoked paprika, so I like mine very flavorful. We only had apps, drinks, and desserts. Planning on going back next trip.

I enjoyed it and I'm glad I tried it but I thought it was good not great. Everything (deviled eggs, fried chicken, hummingbird cake) was enjoyable but not amazing. I would go back if I was with others who wanted to try it but I'm not rushing back myself.

We have been there a few times, including eating at the bar. First, the atmosphere is very pleasant. It is a pretty restaurant with several different rooms, including semi-outdoor space. We liked everything we tried including chicken wings, deviled eggs, fried chicken sandwich and the desserts. Drinks tasty too. I think we used Tables in Wonderland as a discount.

My family and I ate at Homecoming over the Christmas holidays. We had an ADR and we were seated within 3 minutes of our reservation time, even though the restaurant was packed. We liked having a piece of salt water taffy at the hostess stand prior to being seated! This restaurant became a quick favourite for us. The thigh high chicken biscuits appetizer was terrific. The chicken was so moist and the bread and butter pickles complimented it so well. We also loved the cucumber salad. It reminded me of my grandma! We all had fried chicken and loved every bite. We didn't have room for dessert but it all sounded great! We will put this on our dining rotation!
