Sweet! I love the Chipotle Chicken Avocado sandwich! Our first-ever visit to EoS was this past trip, and that's the sandwich I got. I was sad when they said it was just that month's "special" and wouldn't be there on my next trip. Now it will! :thumbsup2

    Boo! Hiss!!

It was special when it was only available about two months out of the year.

It is similar (in concept) to the McRib which has such a good rating as it is not available all the time.

The Holiday Sandwich is basically EOS's version of a turkey dinner. Slices of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a little gravy on an EOS's delicious roll. Really good!

So anyone have the holiday sandwich at Public? Turkey, bacon, Gouda, and their orange cranberry sauce? I LOVE that sandwich so I am wondering how EOS compares?

Have never been to EOS, or heard of their holiday sandwich until now. But, we always make sandwiches at Thanksgiving time with turkey, dressing, homemade whole cranberry sauce - no gravy on it, thank you. It would be overkill to me. We love them. :thumbsup2

There's just enough gravy for taste. You can ask them to "hold the gravy"...my son asks for changes to different sandwiches all the time because he's sooo picky. Every sandwich is made to order and the bread (ciabbata rolls) is made fresh.

The difference here, to me, would be that there are tons of McDonald's around the world. I only get to WDW every couple of years. If I have to visit outside of the "Holiday Sandwich Window" one trip, then I'll have to wait 4 years in between sandwiches! I certainly don't want it to be that special. ;)

I can understand this feeling if you live in Florida. But, for those of us that are only in Florida once a year, this is a welcome change.
