hey everyone, i'm currently at disney world and oh boy, the weather.

everyday so far has been raining (as expected) and it is affecting our family a lot haha.

hurricane hermine is really bad, but missing orlando a lot which is nice.

about an hour ago a twister hit MK (according to a front desk CM), i hope everyone is okay!
there are a couple tornado watches at the moment and i hope nothing happens!

for all the people coming now-- get ready for the rain!

Have heard yet if there was any damage or anyone hurt at MK from the twister?

I have been watching the storm on the weather and it looks like a bad one with plenty of rain and wind.

It was rainy on and off at AK this afternoon, but we've been walking around Disney Springs tonight and it's a bit breezy, but it didn't rain there.

It was surprisingly beautiful at DS. We just got back to our room at CSR and the ground is wet, but it's not raining at the moment.

haha that's really odd! we were swimming around 8:30 and it started pouring- to the point where the lifeguards couldn't see us and had us leave the pool.

We are here now too and today was the first day that we didn't need ponchos! We were at Animal Kingdom for the morning, came back to the room so DD could have a nap and then went to Disney Springs around 3 pm. We stayed there until about 7...as a PP indicated, it was lovely and breezy. We then came back to the resort for a swim and put the kids to bed just after 8. We are staying at the Polynesian and my DH went out to do some laundry at 8:30 and said it was just sprinkling and not windy at all. Strange how the weather can be so different across WDW.

Glad to hear better reports! Hope all is well throughout the World!

There were twister warnings but nothing happened. It was a beautiful night up until 9, but after like 20 minutes of rain it stopped.

Hahahaha!!!!

Hardly any rain, almost zero wind. I didn't see a storm roll through that could produce a twister.

I'm 10 miles away and have been drinking beer outside on my porch.

I was at MK all day/night...no tornado. Honestly today the weather wasn't nearly as bad as it has been until the castle show, then it started pouring down rain...very heavy. Once again we got to wade our way through the park, buses etc. I definitely agree the weather is a big bummer this trip for us.

We were at DS having dinner when everyones phones started going off for the tornado warning. Talked to a CM, no known tornado actually happened. Rained for a few minutes at DS while we were eating. Like PP stated, today was the first day this week we were able to keep ponchos in backpack. Had a storm quick hit MK around 3, that storm got worse as it headed away from here, the outer part of the hurricane is just missing WDW it would appear for now. Hoping weather improves and can get some sun for the next couple days.....
