Help me pick a new vacuum

I have the purple dyson and don't like it. It is heavy, hard to push and doesn't pick up as I think it should.

I just love my Oreck. Light weight and picks up all the dog hair!!!! It is older. I would go for the same type when it finally dies.

We have this one and really like it. But, it is kind of heavy at 11.8 lbs not sure how heavy is too heavy for you.

I like my Dyson too. I have the regular yellow one. I have had it a few years and it has been great. Definitely wasn't cheap though.

I've had my shark navigator loft away for at least 5 years now. I absolutely love it. We have 2 dogs and a 3 year old and it picks up everything. I will never buy another brand of vacuum.

I have the Shark Rotator Lift-Away. It's the only infomercial product that ever sucked me in (ha did you see what I did there?) and has been worth every penny. It's the best vacuum we've ever had.
