I leave in about 3 weeks on the Magic. I discovered that I am not going to have a lot of space to pack since my DH said I am only going to have room for 1 suitcase and a carryon. So I guess I'm leaning toward a cabin gift for each of the 13 rooms on my list. I'll try to squeeze a little something extra for the kids. BUT I need light and compact ideas for cabin gifts please! We're also on a budget but don't want to cheese out either. Maybe even Disney gift cards???

Please help!!!! Thanks :)

A good place to look is Etsy.com. The have some really cute things on there. I just searched for Disney FE Gifts and all kind sof stuff comes up. Good luck!!

But what are some good examples of cabin gifts? Can I pick up cabin gifts along the trip? What have you all received? I see a lot of kid gifts but need ideas for adults/cabin gifts. Thx

$1 flashlights from Target would be very useful and not too big

Flashlights are a great idea, thanks! I have already been on Etsy, pinterest, etc. but what I'm looking for are actual good ideas...something you have gotten or would like to get. I am running out of time to comb through the web.

This is really basic but I received a couple of clip type clothes pins that had been Disney-fied with ribbon glued on the long top side. They were great to clip the curtains closed and I still carry one when I travel and use it quite often. Very easy to do and light weight.

I did two things off of pinterest. Both were pretty easy to do. Etsy does have gifts but they are way too costly. Also try Oriental Trading Company online.

You could make magnets for the stateroom doors. Some of the Designers on here may have some already made graphics that you can print off. Then laminate and add a magnet.

Post cards to send home from Castaway Cay. They take a while to get home, but I love sending my kids postcards from the island letting them know what a great time I had making long lasting memories with them.

We loved a "cruise cd" with all kinds of tropical/party/Disney music, that would be light, cheap and easy. It was one of our favorite gifts ever.

Perfect!!!! That's a great idea! I'd love to receive something like that, too!

Where/how do you get them? About how much is the cost?

You just make the playlist it from iTunes or similar and burn it onto discs - very inexpensive if you already have many of the sons in your library. Here is the song/track list of the ones we gave out:

1. DCL Announcement Chime (When You Wish Upon A Star)
2. Boat Drinks – Jimmy Buffet
3. Some Beach – Blake Shelton
4. No Shoes, No Shirts, No Problems – Kenny Chesney
5. Island Song – Zac Brown Band
6. DCL Horn (Be Our Guest)
7. Three Little Birds – Bob Marley
8. Come Sail Away – Styx
9. Sea Cruise – Yo La Tengo
10. Sailing – Christopher Crosss
11. DCL Horn (A Dream Is a Wish…)
12. Sailing – Christopher Crosss
13. Cruisin’ – Huey Lewis & Gwenyth Paltrow
14. Island In The Sun – Weezer
15. Toes – Zac Brown Band
16. DCL Horn (Small World)
17. When The Sun Goes Down – Kenny Chesney & Uncle Kracker
18. Margaritaville – Jimmy Buffet
19. Life’s A Beach – Heymous Molly
20. Breezin’ – George Benson
21. DCL Horn (A Pirate’s Life…)
22. Stir It Up – Bob Marley
23. Hakuna Matatta – Baha Men
24. Beyond The Sea – Robbie Williams
25. Somewhere Over The Rainbow – Israel Kamakawiwo'ole
26. DCL Horn (When You Wish Upon A Star)

Anyone else have some songs they consider good "cruise songs"?

Buy a magnet at each port and put it on each cabin's door. Great souvenir and no packing for you!
